Most people agree that the Bible should be restricted to adults only. Why corrupt young minds with the violence, killing, murders and hatred contained in the Bible.

The more I review this horror publication, the more I feel that it should be permanently banned from circulation. Clearly many religious adults have below average intelligence and also very naive gullible minds, and they should be protected as well from Bible horrors.

Bible Thumpers always use quotes they like, but horrific quotes become “That was the old Bible, or we’ve changed the meaning, or wrong interpretation, or we’ve changed the context, or the quotes are out of context, excuse after excuse.”

Mathew 5:29-30 God encouraged self-mutilation.
Isaiah 13:15-18 God allowed women raped and little children slaughtered.
Genesis 6:11-17 and 7:11-24 God is the greatest mass murder in history.
Luke 14:26 God wants you to hate your family.

Rubbish like the above quotes should be banned from public circulation.

My ideal life would be a small house on a small amount of acreage here in East Texas. I would be a fulltime stay at home mom. We would have enough money to pay the bills without struggling and a little left over to save.
Peace Be With You,
Debra

The best way I heard is this:

Water Vapour and ICE

All three are the EXACT SAME THING... H20... but they are in complete different forms and serve different purposes.

Same as the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Hope that helps a little.... sorry no question.... or maybe I should say, sorry no question??

I'm eighteen and I've been plagued with demons since I was about ten. As I was growing up they would not let me alone and I fell into a horrible depression. I began hurting myself and making myself bleed. It was only then I realized someone or something was making me feel this way. I've been ok up until recently. I walk around with a tight pain in my heart, but my doctor could find nothing wrong with me. I fear that these demons will consume me.

and I do not want anything like ask god and he will help you, I HAVE many times. please I need something more than just that god will make it all better, because I've ask him and the angels and nothing has changed.

So here is my question: Is their a way to deal with them so they will leave me alone? some kind of ritual or something? I'm willing to try anything right now. I don't want to die... but they keep telling me I have too. does anyone have an answer for me?

Our beloved modern-day John the Baptist, the late Bill Hicks, said the following. I think it explains everything quite succinctly, don't you? Of course you do.

"The reason the world's so f**ed up right now is that we're undergoing evolution. And the reason our institutions, our traditional religions, are all crumbling is because they're NO LONGER RELEVANT. (Furious laughter.)
They're no longer relevant. So it's time for us to create a new philosophy, and maybe even a new religion, you see, and that's okay because that's our right as free children of God, with minds that can imagine anything, and that's kind of our role."

I am just curious. Rolled papers that were also burned. What are they for? Although I was taught how to use the incense, I am still fascinated by their rituals.

Isn't marriage supposed to be a covenant with God? Why is it legal here? I believe if you aren't married by the church then it's not a real marriage.

I have certainly committed a lot of sins in my life such as disobeying parents, not studying hard enough, getting into fights, etc... But I always had personal conviction of trying to lead a good life whether through volunteer work or doing people's favors.
There are certain things that I couldn't understand why I deserved them. I couldn't understand why I had to be the one who has to go through severe form of depression. And during those tough times, not even knowing what depression was (I do now), I struggled mightily, just enduring unbelievable emotional pains on almost daily basis.
Soon after, my lust problem started. The good feeling that comes after masturbation at least relieved or helped dull my mental pains. I certainly didn't see masturbation or porn as something dangerous such as drugs, alcohol or tobacco.
Now, I am having to deal with severe depression and lust problem. What more could I possibly have done as a human given my conditions? Because I feel like I gave my all.

the last time I was in a church like that I saw people 'dancing in the spirit' and their blouses where bouncing up and down and you could see their womanly chest... Then I hear others critizing their worship and saying that was not in the spirit...

For instance, if the government imposed it on it's citizens....would it make you happier? Do you think that is the way a person should come to find their faith, or should the journey be personal?

Why do we name God "God"? I mean he could have a real name, other than God. Why the name "God" and not something else?
And i do know that we do call him other names like the almighty and creator of the universe, and stuff like that. I'm just wondering if he has a real name, one that all religions and people could call him.

And why did he not just make a woman from scratch? It would make things a little less incestuous.

Yes, I did ask god, but he hasn't replied yet.

Our human reason and words are not capable of understanding the mening of God. God is a human creation existing in our mental concious for a natural reason that we can´t yet explain. However we keep thinking of definitions to explain the universe and all that our Human senses are able to sense. Reality as it is, is much more complex. So don´t let your social human background define your reality. Because it is only a short dream. But first ask yourself why does God exists in our reality or is it just a dream?
