Reincarnation, Past Lives and Karma are explained In Details in Bhagavad Gita.
So rather than speculating about it, why don't you try to get the facts from the Scripture ?
Bhagavad Gita clearly stats that we are Spirit Souls and our nature is Eternal as is the nature of our Father God.
After death of this Body, soul takes up another Body, and thus it continues to Live.
The Allotment of Body however depends on persons nature and activity in the past. This new body can be any living entity, a tree or animal or bird or insect or human.. It need not be only on this planet .. It can be in another planet in this universe. Depending upon the facilities available in each planet, the planet is termed as Heaven or Hell or Middle planet...
There are many planets in this universe where life is even worse than on Earth and certainly they are called Hells.
yes your past activity and also your past in present life both influence your actions now.. and the choices that you make now will influence you future...
But Bhagavad Gita says don't remain suffering here in this material world.. Seek out for the Eternal kingdom of God where there is no suffering of changing bodies and no anxiety.

I believe in reincarnation but I do not believe that there is someone out there who is tallying each and every deed to make sure that it happens to me in the opposite way next time. I believe that I choose which parents I will be born to because of the possible opportunities to learn. I don't believe that before my birth I could know exactly what those lessons will be because I don't believe in pre-destiny. I do not believe in a heaven or hell. If any of my past lives influence me during this lifetime, then I think that the effect is marginal at best. My purpose is to live this lifetime and focus upon the here and now to learn what I need. I will have plenty of time between incarnations to review lessons learned/needed.

Yes, my religion teaches about causes, conditions and effects.
However we consider ourselves reborn, not reincarnated, unless we have the ability to determine what we are born as. For most of us, our only control is what we can do now that will influence the future.
All happenings are due to our past deeds in action, speech and thoughts. We do not believe in reaching for a heaven, but in transcending this cyclic existence of rebirth.

I do not believe in anything that is conceted with reincarnation or past lives. However when it comes to Karma I do believe in it, but from a psychological point of view rather then spiritual one.
I know from first hand that when a person is happy with themselves, good things would happened to him because he would see anything as good. and when a person in happy with himself, he'd only see the bad things the happened to them.
Almost all of my life i had volunteered for something, and for two years I'm doing a voluntary civil services in schools. I think good things are happening to me now not as a paycheck for all the good I am doing, but because I'm happpy with myself I take most of the things that are been thrown my way as positive.
That's Karma to me...

Yes, I believe in past lives, reincarnation and karma. If you are interested in this topic try reading "Destiny of Souls" by Michael Newton. Very informative.

Yes. My father has always believed that hell is here on earth, and I do as well. I also believe that past lives definitely influence your current life - in a very subconscious way. Certain unexplained fears, instincts that really pay off, etc.

Wow yes i believe almost that exact thing. Personally i like to think when we pass over into the summerlands that this is only temporary, like a kinda pleasant waiting room of sorts in which to contemplate the lessons of your previous life.

Past lives to me seem more plausible we are actually just passing on memory in our DNA
And why come back if you can't take what you have learned previously with you. By the way, we are already in Hell.
I can't imagine anything worse than this existence. Can you?

i definitely believe in past lives and karma. in each we are born to learn something and our soul keeps growing. also, when we need to take or give something to another person/soul, we are born. our past definitely influences what we are today. whatever qualities we have are a reflection of our past lives. and our soul chooses to be born in this person that we are.
