certainly there are pagans out here. you can try going to about.com, witchschool.com, witchvox.com, beliefnet.com tons of places. It's pretty hard to explain it all. Oh, oh, there is a book I can recommend - it's called Paganism for Dummies - it's a pretty good primer.
good for you for trying to educate yourself and not just turn your back on him for his religious beliefs.
blessed be

Check out the question posted within the last 30 minutes asking for an explanation of Wicca. Wicca is one of the pagan religions and the explanation there might help. It's hard to just group all pagans together and ask about the rituals and casting circles because the individual religions and traditions are unique.

The best way to understand him is to accept that his faith teachs the same principles as your own. Be kind to others even if they are not always to you.Do not judge people, that is better left to the powers that be(God or Goddess, or what ever other name is used).Do not harm another. If you look deeply into it really it is only the words that are different between the both of you.
The rituals are also simliar if you stop and think depending on percisely whic form of Neo-Pegan he may be, my husband is Christain and celebrate Chrismas of cousre, where i celebrate the Winter Solatce. Both are a celebration of birth and hope, a time of gathering together and sharing with loved ones you best wishes for the year to come.He there again has Easter for rebirth, as I have the Spring Equinox. At this time we both rejoice in the new beginings and the renewal the Earth goes through.Other than that look at the site others have posted, and see for yourself the beauty of both faiths. Embrace yours for your self and simply embrace him for who he is, the man you love.
Blessed Be.

Witchvox would be a good place to start online.
I'm Wiccan (which is different than Neo-Paganism as a whole), and my fiancee is Christian. We had some religious differences to explain to one another early in our relationship. A long time ago, I had found a book titled 'The Pocket Guide to Wicca' by Paul Tuitean and Estelle Daniels, which outlines the basics of Wicca in a very easy to understand manner. I found it at my local occult shop. Maybe your boyfriend could find a book like this for you to look at. Even if things he does are slightly different than in the book, it would at least give you a starting point for discussions.
