The Bible actually says we are to treat our bodies like a temple. Because they are the temple where the Holy Spirit dwells. So, safe to say, God would not be amused with recreational drug use. Besides, by the time you reach your 40's, you'll wish you never did any drugs.

Recreational drug use is discouraged in the Bible.
It would include any mood altering chemical.
Galatians 5 speaks of the "works of the flesh."
Included in the listing is "witchcraft."
The Greek word from which witchcraft is translated is "pharmacea."
That would be the same root word from which we get pharmacy, or pharmaceuticals.
The outcome of drug use is that it opens us up to powers of the dark side of the spirit realm.
(Witches, tribal Witchdoctors, Shamen, Native American Medicine Men, etc all used recreational "herbs" and potions to induce an altered state of mind.)

Actually, your life is a gift from God. Taking care of your body is important.
Drug use for recreation? Ummm...don't think so....
That's like saying "play on the freeway"
It's not safe for your body, it doesn't accomplish anything worthwhile, and doesn't show appreciation for the life that God has given you

We get our english word "pharmacy" from the greek word pharmakos which is (oddly enough) translated sorcery or witchcraft when found in the New Testament.
It's not clear whether translating this word in this way is entirely valid. While the use of drugs may have figured large in the practice of witchcraft and sorcery, this word specifically refers to the mind-altering substances themselves, and not solely to the practice of witchcraft & sorcery.
So it seems the Bible clearly prohibits involvement with mind-altering substances.

It doesn't say specifically not to do drugs. But there is a verse that says that your body does not belong to you. It was bought with a price. It is a temple and you should keep it healthy and treat it right.

God doesn't "say" anything about anything that we do.
God simply experiences the relativity of this physical experience through us, who are each a physical manifestation of God.

Nothing specifically. The sin is gluttony as in wine and food. Since medicine did not exist, drugs did not exist.
