Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee; because he trusteth in Thee.
This became my favorite verse when I used to play my trumpet in church. It made me real nervous until I saw this verse, and quit thinking about myself and how I sounded to others and put my mind on Jesus and the fact that I was playing this music to honor Him. It really did give me peace to think of Jesus at these times.

I don't have one "favorite" Scripture but I would be happy to tell you some verses that would help you out. Write me a letter and tell me what the theme of the occasion is or some other information that will help me to help you. If you want to copy some Scripture you can click on the Bible icon at the bottom of http://web.express56.com/~bromar/ or download the e-Sword Bible study software from the Free Stuff page and get the verses in computer form from that. Here's a quick paste of some of the verses that I've recently favored in my reading.
Psalms 34:3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together! 4 I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. 5 Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. 6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. 8 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! 9 Oh, fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack! 10 The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

There are a couple of them that I love...
Psalm 103:12-15 = As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. (13) Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. (14) For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
I Samuel 12:24 = Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
Luke 11:9-10 = And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you. (10) For every one that asketh reveiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
