I believe he is, and I don't believe he would lead anyone to Hell. So here is the next question, Why would a loving God allow His word, to be mis-interpeted(the bible) as many people love to say. Why would he lead everyone away from the truth? Would he?

God whether you call him the Christian God, Allah, or any other God, is the same loving God.
Evil in the world has caused deception in all of us. We scare our self.
God is not only love, but God all-knowing and he guides everyone according to what they need to know. It is evil deception that sends people to the wrong path. The more your relationship grows with God, the more he will allow you to understand.
Don't focus on who and if God sends someone to hell. We will never understand God with human logic. Instead focus more on what kind of life God wants for you and how to love others. The main points in the bible to focus on would be that we need to love each other, forgive each other, share & help each other, and love God...but by doing what I just stated proves you love God.
A lot of our judgement and suffering as stated in the bible refers to the here and now...not always eternal.
don't read to deep into the eternal punishment in the bible, I realize many Christians have told others they will burn in hell, but as a true follower of Jesus...I know that is not my place and I am not God so i can't tell you your fate when my hands have sinned more than the normal human.
Again God doesn't lead us to hell, evil deception in the world does that.
God created us for his purpose, we should stop trying to think as God. We probably should just live the best life we can for God, and trust God to forgive us as the bible states over & over that he already has.

Yes he is. there is a scripture you can look its 1 John 4:8 it says that God is love and there is another scripture that says the bible was written through gods prophets so it is the best book in the world and I can promise you its accurate!!Also honestly if you think about it god is not the one who mis interprets it,its people in this world that dont want to do what they are told. And the last thing god would want to do is lead people away from him hence the scripture James that says draw close to God and he will draw close to you.So if you have anymore questions I would be more than privileged to help you answer them personally!!

Is God loving? Yes. It depends what youre talking about; like did the story of the flood happen just as the way it says? Those Q's arent very huge. But is Jesus the Son of God? To this day we have people that claim the Bible as their own yet deny Jesus is the Son of God. That type of misuse only comes from Satan confusing and people not letting God guide them.

But theres great news for the people that love God in return! He will give you a spirit of truth that will help you understand. god made the Scriptures very complex no doubt about it, does that make God a deciever? No it make us spiritually blind!

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth -2 Timothy 2:15

God is not a deterministic God. The reason we need a savior in the first place is because he refused to force our allegiance, devotion, or love, and we threw it back in his face. So instead of asking why a loving God would do what you are saying, ask instead why man, in the ultimate act of evil, would mislead anyone in how to become right with God?

In any event, you are decieved. God leads no man to hell, man does a great job of doing that on his own by rejecting God's son.

Stop putting the onus on God, put it on the shoulders of those who continuously reject him. Here's a question: Why does God continue to put up with man's nonsense? Because he does love us, much more than we can ever love him.

I say you need to read the bible more the Lord Jesus Christ does not mislead people. It is the devil that leads people to wrong doing. God has given us free will as he gave Adam and Eve we are to choose whether to follow to follow the true word of the Lord or the way of the devil.

I don't think God is a loving god, no way. I don't mean to insult your religion, but he really is very cruel. In the OT, he kills thousands of people, simply because he doesn't agree with them. Remember the teens who were teasing one of his prophets for being bald? He sent a bear to kill them all. And most of the book of Leviticus is more laws about who to killl, such as teens who are disrespectful to their parents AT ANY TIME and homosexuals, people who eat shrimp, ect. Furthermore, why would God need to have his son be killed to forgive us? Is he not just capable of FORGIVENESS? So, no, I do not think he is loving. A loving god would not need to create a hell in the first place. Where is the justice in torturing people infinately for finite crimes? It isn't; it is pure cruelty.

Here's the thing, God gave us free will - which includes the free will to be wrong and sin.

But - In order for free will to work, God has to stand back and allow the consequences of humanities sin to play itself out.

Unfourtunitly this sometimes leads to what you talked about in the question.

Since the New Testament is a hash of the Old Testament, you should read that. In no way was the God of the Old Testament a caring, loving, happy sappy God.

I partially agree.

I think that God wouldn't give us free will.. then tell us that if we don't do as He says we go to suffer for all eternity. He tells us not to judge, he tells us not to harm one another... and yet.. he harms us and judges us. He may be God but that is hyppocrasy.

I do believe in God... just not like the Christians do. I also believe in hell, but only those who want to be there.. or did deeds so horrific they deserve it.
