So what God is telling people don't murder another human, but it is okay to kill yourself. Thou shall not kill means don't kill another human. It says nothing in the bible about suicide, which makes it alright with God, that what I am talking about what is the point of living, when God says it is alright to take your life.

How can it be okay for a human to take his/her life. Suicide is not even a sin, wow. Why are we wasting time on earth, when you can go to heaven.

Why did God not write Thou shall not kill him/herself?

Because when you kill yourself, you are killing a person and that is the sixth commandment, Thou Shalt Not Kill. If you kill someone and don't repent, then you will go to hell. You can't ask for forgiveness when you're dead.

Thou shall not kill,is implied not even yourself. God created us in His own image, God places special values on human life. God commands His people to protect and defend innocent human life. No one is excluded from protection and care.

Suicide is murder therefore a sin.

You're correct. 'murder' in the Bible means the intentional taking of an innocent unwilling life. After all, Abraham certainly didn't consider his intended sacrifice of his son to be murder - and obviously neither did god. It doesn't matter whether he carried it out or not, the intent was there, and as Jesus taught, the intent is what matters. So we have Biblical precedence for the voluntary taking of human life, and we have no edicts against it.

So Biblically, it's not a sin. But the nutters will throw all such arguments out the window and just say 'nuh uh, it is so murder, la la la I'm not listening, la la la'.

That's not a very good argument. The Bible doesn't say anything about a lot of things, that doesn't neccessarily mean they are "alright" with God. There are also plenty of things not mentioned in the Bible that we have to discern whether or not they are right or wrong. Just because something is not named as a sin, does that make it good, or right?
Sin can be defined as that which separates us from God and/or one another, or that which brings about alienation and pain.

Judas Iscariot was such a man. After betraying Jesus ,"...he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. Matthew 27:5 ;"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God,and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?If any man destroy the temple of God,him shall God destroy ; for the temple of God is holy , which temple ye are." 1 Corinthians 3:16-17.You might want to go a little deeper with this . Instead of wondering if it's a sin to commit suicide you might ask why someone that was right before God would want to do such a thing."Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace , whose mind is stayed on thee ; because he trusteth in thee." Isaiah 26:3. Have you ever heard of anyone committing suicide who had perfect peace ? If your thinking down these lines , I would just like to let you know I considered this act myself once upon a time Jesus changed everything .And He Loves you just as much as He did me .I'll be praying for you tonite.

It doesn't matter Jesus died for our sins . And suicide is known as a sin in the Bible . Look it up on line and you will find it . That's why so many people who believe in God and the Bible don't commit suicide because they are afraid of not going to Heaven or having some after life .

First, God didn't "write the bible". Second, if you kill yourself, that still classifies as killing. The commandment does not say Thou shall not murder.

The commandment against killing people is pretty all -inclusive. The only exceptions given for this commandment are 1) killing done in a declared war, and 2) executions done as punishment for a capital crime. Suicide is not covered by those exceptions, and is not mentioned as a "blessed" activity.

It is not true that there is "nothing in the Bible about suicide". Three suicides are mentioned: King Saul, King Saul's armorbearer, and Judas Iscariot.

K. Saul killed himself to prevent being captured and tortured by the Philistines, just after watching his 4 of his 5 sons die in battle. His armorbearer followed suit, in despair. Judas killed himself in remorse for betraying Jesus. None of these men are remembered with fondness, or as good role-models by Jews or Christians!

God DOES NOT SAY that suicide is ok. You are decieved if you believe this, and lying to spread it around!

Thou shall not kill takes care of that. It's murdering yourself.
