Why does other animals did not evolve & become intelligent like us humans? Or will they evolve & become as intelligent like us now in the future?

This means there is only one archangel which is Michael, right?

Jude 1:9
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

I'm a very firm Agnostic. I've been debating religion for years and no one has been able to shake my ideas and get me to convert yet. I am not a Christian, I have no desire to become one. I don't have faith in the Bible (so using it in arguements never works) I don't believe Jesus was the son of God (though if more people actually listened to what he said, the world might be a better place), and I don't believe in Heaven or Hell as Christian dogma describes them. I'm not angry at God, I'm not "bitter," as I've been told, I just simply. Do not. Believe. What Christians. Believe.

Why can't some people accept that I'm quite happy the way I am?

My buddy and I have been best buds for years and just recently he came out of the closet and told everyone he was gay. Just about everyone at church hates him now, and he told me he had been studying Wicca for quite some time now. And last night he invited me to a full moon ritual, and all I can say is WOW! It was not what I had expected. I didn't know what to expect! In one night, I felt more spiritual than I have in nineteen years of going to church. How can I learn more about Wicca? I really think I want to know more.

If Scientology has a lot to do with duplication, I would prefer that only members that CAN duplicate my questions have a go - either at me for asking the questions, or just answering the darn thing.... thankyou. You don't need to use my question as an opportunity for self promotion. Those who make claims about Hubbard and Scientology either way... prove your position with real evidence... that I can evaluate.. thankyou yet again.

Ok, dropping any religion for this two parter. (Sound like Darwin)
1) Can the government force health care on a person to make them live even if they do not want it?(ie. blood transfusion)

2)If the government forces people to live then why do they say abortion is okay?

I've had a run in with a few "ghost" in my time. Most recently, the apartment my husband I just moved from (not because of the ghost) had a kind male spirit by the name of Cleophus. The apartment community was built on land that was once a Plantation and Cleo was a slave that worked the land. He would mostly show himself at night, but on the day we were finshing the move his told us goodbye in his own special way. When I went upstairs to check the bath room for anything we might be leaving behind, there written in steam on the glass (no one had been running the shower or sink) were the words. "Been nice havin' yall here." I called my husband to tell him to come see but just as I turned back it was gone. Well, we now live in a different community and there is another "entity" that comes to visit. I have not "seen" this one, but my cat chases it quite often (as she did with Cleo). Do you, or have you, ever experianced your own run in with "ghost" & who did you call? Sorry couldn't resit

Was it different before Abraham (who you will remeber met a monotheistic priest and tithed to him from his wealth).

Was it different after Jesus?

Do we just understand God better?

When asking Christians, why we have evil, the mainstream response is- for us to have genuine free will we need “evil” to exist. Especially since that entire intelligent god would not cheat us (humans) on “free will” and we will have absolutely genuine “free will”. Since god is all-powerful he could easily stop evil and make us all happy but it would not be fair for our free will right?
Well let’s look for concept of heaven. (Let’s ignore that there was war in heaven at some time) Do we have a free will in heaven? If yes- does evil required being present to have free will? Looks like not. Since we know there is no sin or evil in heaven, and we still have free will than there is no need to have evil. (and that’s for eternity). Or may be our “free will in heaven is not a genuine one?”
If we don’t have free will in heaven for eternity than how come we can claim that “free will” is the greatest gift of god?

wouldn't it be more logical for atheists and theistst to just admit that none of them have any proof that god exists and none that he doesn't exist? Meaning apathetic agnosticism. wouldn't keep the people from following "gods laws" like not killing....

I believe in a cosmic force that educates all of us everyday, whether we listen to and heed the messages or not. What kind of cosmic education do you think people like Jack the Ripper or Ted Bundy would receive in their future lives?

I, myself, do not believe in the eye-for-an-eye, because many times, there are better ways for someone to learn. For instance, a "lighter" crime on the karma scale might be simply punching any random stranger. Well, a person who would do such a thing could not truly learn from being punched back the next day, by an entirely different stranger, even though that is the "eye" mentality, because that person already has a predisposition to violence and seldom learns from it. Rather, he might learn not to punch a stranger if he happens to see someone he loves get punched by a stranger..

Thoughts?

I asked this question rhetorically elsewhere, and have decided to make it an actual question. I am half angry and half genuinely curious.

I am bi, I am s-s married, I am Pagan, I am not what conservative Christians would consider "godly". I have heard and heard this from many mouths for years. I heard I was going to hell even before I left the church.

I have to ask, since I've heard and since I've even given church a chance, why can't I just be allowed to go to hell in peace now, if in fact I'm going to hell?

And if I and many, many other people who just want to enjoy our lives are in fact going to hell, why must y'all also try to create hell on Earth for the "ungodly" through legislation, discrimination, and cruelty, too?

How can God period????
That is just sick...Why would God sacrifice himself for some rapist, drug addict, pornstar, theif, child abuser.
You are saying God is imperfect that he cannot just forgive sins by you repenting. He has to come in "flesh" and kill himself. He has to come to this discusting earth and be killed by his own creation....What in the world is that???? Flesh, sacrifice, killing god, blood of Jesus, sounds like a pagan idea to me.

Read only if you have time for God
IF U GOT TYME 4 GOD READ DIS!!! One day Satan and Jesus were having a
conversation. Satan had
just departed from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting.

"Yes, sir, I just caught a World full of people down there. I set me a trap
and used a little bait.
I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!"

"What are you going to do with them?" Jesus asked.
Satan replied,

"Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them how
to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to
drink and smoke and curse. I'm gonna teach them how to invent guns and
bombs and kill each other. I'm really gonna have fun!"

"And what will you do when you get done with them?" Jesus asked.

"Oh, I'll kill 'em," Satan glared proudly. "How much do you want for them?"
Jesus asked

"Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't no good. See, you'll take them
and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you then kill you.
You don't want those people!!"

"How much?" He asked again.
Satan looked at Jesus and sneered,

"All your blood, tears, and your life."

Jesus said without hesitation,
"DONE!"

Then He paid the price.

- Isn't it funny how simple it is for people to trash God
and then wonder why the World's going to Hell?

- Isn't it funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still
follow Satan?

- Isn't it funny how you can repost a thousand jokes through bulletins and
they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending bulletins regarding
the Lord, people think twice about sharing?

- Isn't it funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of
me than what God thinks of me.

- I pray, for everyone who reposts this,
they will be blessed by God in a way special for them

- And send it back to the person who sent it, to let them know that indeed
it was sent out to many more.

- If You Love God... And, are not ashamed of all the marvelous things HE
has done for you...
