Im agnostic but am in the same boat as any other non-muslim...why cant all non-muslims start a dialogue of unification...havent all non-muslims evolved to the point where we have learned to at least tolerate each other? I think so...lets take it the next step now and resist the most intolerant force ever diseased upon humanity.

When you're spending at least 60% of your waking hours at work, you can’t always help but to let your bad habits out of the bag. More specifically, I'm referring to cursing and swearing in the workplace.

I might drop a curse word on the odd occasion... ok more like every 30mins or so, but who cares about the details...

I'm not religious, but some of my colleges are and they might take offense against the use of foul language.

Should I feel guilty about cursing around them if that is part of my personality and who I am?

Have you ever thought about this?

53Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?" Matthew 25:53 The Holy Bible.

Brainwashing is: "Intensive, forcible indoctrination, usually political or religious, aimed at destroying a person's basic convictions and attitudes and replacing them with an alternative set of fixed beliefs."

I see no difference...do you?

How many of you know it was copied from a race that predated christianity by 1000's of years-Sumerian?
There are very well documented Sumerian stone tablets and artifacts dating in excess of 6000 years old that tell of everything found in the much later OT? (but with some very important differences that, when referenced and applied to the current stories in the OT, causes the OT to make a LOT more sense and be far less cryptic, but, would also fundamentally change what you believe...)

question, I get hardly any responses at all. Are the religious people who post here really that superficial? Is ignorance of ones own theology widespread? If religion is important to people, why do they not give it more serious thought (in general)? Is it more about the feeling then the facts? Cutting and pasting answers from websites is not the same as thinking.

There is no such thing as cold...It is really the absence of heat.

Could this apply to the concept of something being evil?

Example 1:If evolution is true.....?
Why do apes still exist & were they watching us evolving?

Example 2:If the theory of evolution is true then how come the process is not happening still today?

Is this really how far our society has fallen in its education as a whole? What can we do to educate our youth to a point where they can actually compete with the rest of the world?
