"We, the family of Nicholas Berg, extend our sympathies to the families of Kim Sun-il, Paul Johnson Jr., Robert Jacobs, Kenneth Scroggs, Bassam Salih Kubba and Kamal al-Jarah. We hope they will find the strength to endure the pain of their losses. We also extend our sympathies to all the families and friends of all the victims of this war, including United States military, other coalition military, contractors, and the 11,000-plus innocent Iraqi victims. We have been silent until now to avoid for the Johnson and Sun-il families any association our son's death may have had."
Why is it, that this man, whose son was brutally murdered, and said murder being televised and publicized, can find it in his heart to say these actions are wrong, and we (being the majority) who have not lost loved ones can not?
I lost family on 9/11 at the Pentagon, am I wrong for not wanting more bloodshed?

How does GOD stay so compassionate and forgiving even though we hurt Him so much? How do we still touch the heart of GOD even though we've wronged Him so much? His love is so deep....

ok, this is what I'm seeing on here. Everybody is arguing about how their religion is better than the others, blah blah blah. The Christians have turned against each other, (I was told I'm not a christian because I dont' follow their ideals), so I don't fit in there, dont' follow Atheism, the jewish, buddists and hindis never speak to me, lol. So I've decided to start a cult, lol. I'm not sure what to worship yet, or the rules, DEFINITELY no head shaving though! I'm thinking Togas maybe. Any followers? What should we worship? The worshiping of the leader has been over done, so I dont' really like that Idea. But hey, I'm open for suggestions. lol

Keep in mind before you rip me a new one... ITS A JOKE!

Known for his integrity you would think that this would bring these religions more togeather as integrity is a highly valued trait. Shouldn't we all have this and be able to get along because of it?

My point is a model of self divided by a spiritual conflict between good and evil leads a low esteem of self relative to a model of self unified by continuous spiritual communion between soul and spirit of an infinite divine eternal one. My point is a model of world divided by a spiritual conflict between a good one in heaven and an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth leads to an esteem of world that is low relative to a model of world unified by the spirit of an infinite divine eternal one Mother God and her consort Father Love, an infinite seed who together give birth to an infinite body of large universes of the correct kind to support living infernal feasting entities and Soul Children whose main purpose in life is to enjoy entertainment derived from ordering the chaos of minds in bodies that live and die and thereby enable Mother God to vicariously enjoy the entertainment she derives from drama of life and death.

I mean, why do Christians find the need to preach one thing and then act another way...why do they find the need to ruin it for the rest of us and actually cause more of what they preach against?

All the churches in my area made me feel farther away from God, so I decided that I would better serve him if I didn't go. What do you think about it? Is that a sin?

when some one from a non christian religon tries to convince you that their right and you are the sinner. and why cant christians simply accept that non-christians can be just as secure in their spirituality. i'm ritzanalae although i was raised christian. i found a something that makes scence to me that i can believe in with all my heart isnt that the essence of faith. i know the preachy christian is the exception, not the norm, but it makes me so angry when they try and make it hard for me to follow my faith

I've heard Christians explain it like this: God is so perfect and just that he can't allow you into his presence with even the smallest sin, but Jesus died for our sins and so if we accept him Jesus will wash our sins away and then we can enter God's Kingdom. But how is it just for the One who never sinned to pay for everyone else's? If you kill someone it's not justice for me to go to prison for you even if I volunteer. And to add to the confusion, Jesus and God are the same entity, supposedly. It's like he's tricking himself. What's up?

The bible tells us at the end of revelation, "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth , for the first heaven and earth had passed away". Yet science has proven that the earth is moving closer to the sun every year. This will mean certain doom for our planet ( Hence the term fire and brimstone in the bible). I always wondered which is it. The new earth I take it means a spiritual awakening of mankind and a new beginning.
