THE WORD MEANINGFUL can be relative.
For me, my life is meaningful because I know who I am and I know where I am going. I have God with me wherever I go.

Perhaps for you... but everyones meaning of life is different, who are you to judge?

What makes my life meaningful? Young, hot, female bootie and conflict. Both are fun and stimulating.

Meaning comes only from within. Without is intrinsically meaningless. Only by being a conscious living being can we ascribe meaning to the outside 'without' world.

Knowledge and wisdom give my life meaning -- the eternal pursuit to better understand myself and my world so that I can better be a part of my own existence.

There are so many wonderful things that bring joy and meaning to my life. My darling fiancè and his daughter. My lovable, passionate-for-life puppy dog. My parents, my siblings.

One thing, however, that most people wouldn't say brought meaning to their lives would be my job.

I work with disabled children as an Occupational Therapist. I teach them how to write, how to dress, how to play...yes I just said how to play. I give them the one-on-one attention they so long for. I don't judge them, I don't tease them like their classmates sometimes do. I just play with them, laugh with them, cry with them.

I befriend their struggling parents who are so guilt stricken and filled with sadness that their child was given so much to handle. I teach them ways to make things easier, ways to make things more fun. How to turn the little things we take for granted, but they struggle so hard with, and make them like second nature.

It's SO rewarding to get a hug from a parent who just needed an ear. Or have little arms wrap around your neck with such excitement because they're ten years old and just learned how to finally tie their shoes.

Or have a mother start crying when her five year old son says his very first words. Or see a father have to leave the room, because he's so overwhelmed with the emotion of watching his 12 year old daughter take her first independent steps.

God....I'm just bawling here right now. This was such a fabulous question...made me reflect. Thank you very much.

I disagree that the meaning of life cannot come from without.

My family and friends bring great meaning to my life.

You can't not do nothing and expect to have meaningful life. You just have to work it.
My most meaningful life is to give up my dogma and to get my life back.
