God is a forgiving God. He is the alpha and the omega Beginning and the end. With that we walked in His grace and mercy when we first excepted Christ in our hearts. We still do even when we hurt Him now. He knows we love Him. He also knows that we are flesh and flesh is weak. The spirit in us is what is strong. This is Christ. Most of the time the flesh does things to hurt God. God gave His only begotton Son to die on the cross for us. This is where we now walk forever and ever in His Mercy and Grace. He is a compassionate God and always forgives. We should learn to do the same. I am not pointing any fingers at any one when I said that. Understand that this is what I have learned with my walk with God and I am not perfect in any manner. God is still working with me too.

Have you read the Old Testament? He doesn't look so compassionate or forgiving there.
Do we have a word for someone who kills the first born of every family in Egypt? Is that word "compassionate"?
I think "Evil" is more appropriate for someone who does that.

He's beyond our grasp, I've wondered the same thing. How can He be so patient with us? He's God, Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. He's an awesome God.

God's God (he said it himself), how could he do any different? He's all love and forgiveness and everything good, can't never run out.

Oh blue bee, you said that well. He is the perfection of mercy, forgiveness and grace. His love is without bounds. I agree completely and I am so grateful He knows me and I know Him.

Because his love is everlasting. Not like ours that can end over petty stuff. And it just withers away. His love for us is so awesome and no matter what we do he will always love us even if we deny him that same love back. God Bless

Its just like us with our children. No matter how much they hurt us or make us angry we still love them. We have an everlasting unconditional love for our children and that's the way he loves us. He created us in his own images. We are his so he has the same love for us that we have for our children.

This is not something that we are even supposed to understand. It's something that will be revealed on the "other side". Just accept it, it can't be rationally explained.
