I mean, why do Christians find the need to preach one thing and then act another way...why do they find the need to ruin it for the rest of us and actually cause more of what they preach against?

Unfortunately, Christians ARE stereotyped...theres the ones who spread Christs love openly and those who learn and teach but dont act. Then theres the in between who keep their mouth shut and dont do either. I happen to not be the middle choice. I was just wondering about that middle...

Yeah. What a bees nest Christianity is huh? Instead of hate, war, and fear mongering, Their efforts should be put toward their teachings. Love of one another-helping the least fortunate-non aggression-

I am not sure I believe the premise of your question but let us say you are right. Christianity represents a set of beliefs and guidelines, very similar to current day laws. In fact, many of the civilized world's laws are based on Biblical laws. Anyway, before there is was any law, a person didn't have any way to know they were doing wrong. This is why people living outside the law were called pagans in the Bible. Christianity teaches that no one can live up to all the laws and will surely fall short, therefore Everyone needs a way to pay for their sins, even the little ones. Well the payment for such sins is death and no one wants to pay that, nor could they. Therefore, a savior was needed, one that could pay for the sins of all, it was Jesus, the centerpiece and foundation of Christianity. Actually Cornerstone may be biblically correct. Anyway, In light of these truths, Christians must teach that without a savior, the wages of sin are death. This really turns people off. They call it judgemental, harsh, narrow minded and they turn against it, and the messengers. Sooner or later every person will find it is the one absolute truth and will indeed recognize Jesus as the Lord of all. The timing is what makes the difference. Either a person does it now and receives the gift of salvation. Or they wait until they are before Him in judgement and recognize Him as Lord but then it will be too late to accept the gift. So don't fall prey to the anger over being told you need a savior. Accept it and the grace and joy will overwhelm you, until you meet your Lord and Savior face to face and He says, Welcome Home Child! Cool Huh! In fact, I wrote a poem about this.

Great question!! Well, as far as hipocrisy goes... Im of the belief that almost all people are hipocrits in one way or another, at some time or another--not just christians! So, since God and the bible advocate living a serving and selfless life--I'd say thats a pretty high standard--and christians are only human so they fall short, even with the best intentions. Give them an A for effort--at least they are trying to do what is right--agree?!

Christianity would not reason atheism. no longer all atheists were Christian in the previous they stopped believing. someone will be Jewish, Muslim, or the different faith and leave ther faith they were further up in to be an atheist. someone would change into an atheist because there's a lack of info suggesting that anybody faith is actual and under no circumstances one god of any faith is more effective likely to exist than the different. as a effect they opt for now to not be counted on any of them and hit upon a large type of info in historic past and technology that signifies that God is a synthetic theory.

It hasn't been proven, nor was it an issue until now.

It seems that a room for religious and spiritual chatters is visited by non-religious people from time to time. Those non-beleivers are disturbed by the believers when they praise God, pray for someone, ask for guidance or quote scripture.

The notion for them to log onto another room has been suggested to death. It was also suggested that non-believers were curious about religion and really wanted to learn more without giving in too quickly.

Our tolerance during the hateful remarks and name calling has only made us stronger in character. God smiles upon us when we answer "their" questions with sincerity, instead of sarcasm and bitterness.

Of course they envy our peace and love for God and others. Atheists do not have a positive leader to follow, so they take out their transgressions in a room that is the adverse to their mission, if you can call that a mission.

The losing battle that atheists face each day, trying to disillusion beleivers, causes them headaches and heartaches. They really want to think that they are right for not believing and that we are foolish for believing. Each day, we grow stronger in faith, they become more angered with our growth and peace.

It would be so much more effective for atheists to protest on the street where they could reach more people and could be heard better(captive audience). It is so easy for us to "ignore this user".

We pray for them, but we don't have to listen to the noise.

because Christians are humans too...
Christians are given the job to preach the Word in whatever way possible so long the Word reaches the public...
and yes ,Christians MUST(note:not should) walk the talk
but failing to do so 24/7 is logical because Christians are only told to TRY THEIR VERY BEST IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES to live like Jesus did.And we cant deny that there were/are/will be
people who will TRY to live it out 24/7 with all their hearts and mind. but there will be also the ones that who Thinks that they are doing the right thing but infact they are not...
So..
face it..
we are humans....the earth is round...and brains DO work differently for each different individual

This is how a lot of fake Christians are and are how a LOT of people are in general, Christian or not.

I found your question amusing though. Not because of the answers you might get, but because it seems almost like saying "why is believing the biggest cause of not believing"....hmm

I do not agree with your statement.
We Christians are not perfect by any means. Jesus is perfect. We are saved only by the grace and mercy of God. The church is the hospital for sinners, you do not find perfect people anywhere...so not from the church either.

You need to make a personal decision. Good will respect your choice. He gave us free will. It is very lame to blame others. God knows your heart. Your excuses might work here on Q's and A's...but God is just, and He knows if you want to be with in eternity or not. Use your free will wisely...eternity is a long long time.

why do people like you need to preach that christians are all stereotyped into your liitle world?
A lot of religious people don't have time to worry what you think against them.
But you go after soft targets here let me pat you on the back. Well done!

Because Christian faith has made it too grand that a god has to be sacrificed for mankind's redemption. It is the only religion I know that says you can 'be saved' . A false hope that when frustration sets in, one has no option but to competely turn back and accept reality.
Reality: No supreme being that supervises our lives here on Earth. We made what we are today.
