I respect Christianity but it just pisses me off how Christ believers try to persuade people that are of different religions to become a Christian. What do you think about it?

There is a strange phenomenon in the church today, in many churches there are more women attending and commited than men. like wise a woman often gets saved before her husband. Is this because women are generally more sesitive spirutually and therefore more apt to respond to God or is it becasue the church as we know it today is incomplete in its revelation and way of working, therefore appealing and reaching out to the feminine side more than the masculine side of people? And if so how do we need to change in order to be complete in our Christianity?

When the first group of people got together with creative intent and knew they could change the environment, was it accidental or was this during a time of purer mental capabilities.
;) just curious here.

Demons cannot just posses anyone they somehow have to have an open door such as occult practice sin that brings deep gult or unconfessed sin. But in the movie Exorcism of Emily Rose the movie onlyshows her being a good Catholic girl, then going of to college, and then getting possed in her dorm while she is sleeping.

So if anyone knows more to the true story that the movie didn't show, please tell me what door was opened that lead to her posession.

I'm a serious christian woman. I have asked only one time for my husband to go to church with me. I don't want to pressure him.
Is there anything else I should be doing, to encourage him?
Any advice that you could offer, I would be grateful.
I feel I'm at a loss here.

Christianity makes some people feel good, but has cause many wars and killing. Edison made: light bulbs, recording capability (later put in phones and Cd's), DC electricity, vacuum tubes (later used to make: TV, radios, computers, and vacuum cleaners), and many thousands more. Who deserves more thanks?

Can you control your heart beat? Can you make it stop and start again at will? Can you turn one hair on your head black or white at command? Can you prevent yourself from getting sick or dying? Are you in your own hands , today? Man, since the begining of existance has been trying to control their own lives and has failed greatly. We have the knowledge to make the journey to grave more comfortable but we still cannot stop the journey. So ask yourself(businessmen, doctors, lawyer, politicians, and everyone) : Who's really in charge here? Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind? Job12: 9-10

Considering God is not of the Earth and has no genitalia(does it?) and is, by the general understanding, sexless.
If it's a question of respect, surely an all knowing God would KNOW if one were to use the term in a derogatory way? Or is it to simply sate the opinions of others, who ASSUME disrespect?

If Jesus is born of a virgin (some try to say virgin = young woman, but here it is literal since he was supposed to be conceived by the holy spirit and not any human) as the basic Christian belief claims, then he is not the biological son of Joseph, and thus he is not descended from David in fulfillment of the prophecy for Messiahship. So either he was born of virgin and not the Messiah or he was an illegitimate child with no miracle to his birth but was the Messiah. And then he was not son of God... which breaks down the trinity, right?

Why is there no record in the bible of Jesus saying anything against abortion, or infanticide, or homosexuality?

Or the exploitation of women & children?

How can I help people see what Christ was saying without offending? I do not believe in Christ as a savior, period. But that doesn't mean that I don't find his teachings to be valuable, and even benevolent, and in fact I do. (right up until, only through me can you attain the kingdom of heaven) How is it that I can see this, not being a Christian, and Christians can't, don't, or won't. (Granted this does not apply to all Christians, just what seems to be the majority.)

5 I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold, a certain man clothed in linen, whose waist was girded with gold of Uphaz! 6 His body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like torches of fire, his arms and feet like burnished bronze in color, and the sound of his words like the voice of a multitude.
7 And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision; but a great terror fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

Daniel 10:5-7 (NKJV)

14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; 15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters;
