I am not sure who told you that Sikhs don't beleive that God is every where. To answer your question:

1) Sikhs do believe that God, the all mighty is everywhere and in everythign and inside everyone. He is the creator. I'm afraid your source is not very reliable and you should do some concrete research on your own than to rely on someone else's uneducated or biased opinion.

2) About bowing ot The Shri Guru Granth Sahib (the holy scriptures) you not only bow out of respect but more...In Sikkism there are ten gurus (prophets) that came with their teachings. they sacrifised themselves and their families, even young childeren to save the nation from being Forced to become muslim under the mughal rule of aurangzeb. The tenth Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Sing Ji who had four sons sacrifised all of them, his mother, father and himself so people would not be killed or forced to convert. When the ten gurus (teachers) passed on they left with the Sikhs with Sri Guru Granth Sahib sayign that The Granth was their guru since it holds all their wisdom and messages from Waheguru (God) and so that no other can come and declare that they are a guru. So when you bow you are not bowing to the Granth but to the wisdom within and should ask to attain that wisdom which is the path to all happiness and ultimate merging with God.

None of the Sikh Gurus were muslims. Please don't belive anyone that tells you otherwise.

To help you understand the depth and wisdom of this religion the very first word in the Granth Sahib is IK ONKAR, which means that God is one. With this sample I hope that you are better able to understand what love and wonders would follow through out the pages if the VERY FIRST WORD in a holy scripture is that God is One.

I

Sikhs do believe God is everywhere. Sikhs bow to the Guru Granth Sahib because it is our Guru and we are showing it respect. Certainly, non Sikhs do not have to go inside Gurdwaras and bow to the Guru Granth Sahib.

Here's a story that my mom told me when I was little and is very relevant to your question.

The first Sikh guru, Guru Nanakdevji, was a great traveler. On one of his journeys he went to Mecca. There he fell asleep with his feet facing the Muslims' holy Kaaba. One cleric saw this and got very angry. He went and woke up Guru Nanakdevji and asked why he he was showing such disrespect to God? The cleric charged that Guru Nanakdevji was literally pointing his feet towards God (a very disrespectful thing in Eastern cultures) by facing them towards the Kaaba. Then, Guru Nanakdevji asked the man to point the Guru's feet in a direction that did not face God. That is when the cleric realizes that God is in all directions and everywhere.
In sum, you were mistaken, Sikhs do believe God is everywhere.

God is the author of the heavens and the earth. God exists outdoors time and area. If a production unit manufactures a automobile, is it caught interior of that automobile? the same thought is linked with God and his introduction, he can actually carry it in the palm of his hand (examining each and everything from heaven to earth etc.) Psalm 113:5-6 5 who's quite like the LORD our God, the only that sits enthroned on extreme, 6 who stoops all the way down to look on the heavens and the earth?

If you understant yourself to be a piece of the Whole--a spirit entity that is a part of God, then this makes you a God/Goddess in every right...which you truly are.
So then, why would there be cause for you to bow to anyone or anything?

Yes, the God/Goddess is everywhere, in everything, always & all ways...dual entities connected by the "Holy Spirit"...the love that binds them as One...

To each their own in "belief systems"...but you have the truth already...it is part of your being...it is your heart/soul sounds...the voice within....

God is everywhere. He is all knowing and will know what your doing this very second and what you will be doing the next day and the hereafter. Baba Nanak was Muslim. If he hadn't die then you would all of been Muslim. Take time in learning Islam and its teachings. Islam is the right religion for you and that God Almighty will accept all you and forgive all the sins that you have done.

The sikhs are people who have no respect for life and it's not right to bow to another god if you already have a religion.
