The Bible and Qur'an never disagree on this. The Bible says that Jesus was sent by God as Messiah, so does the Qur'an. The Bible says that Jesus was God's "son" but that was in reference to the virgin birth. God said "Be" and Jesus came to be, but he had no earthly father. God takes no physical wife or physical son: Jesus was God's son, not literal son.
"And (we believe) that He - exalted be the glory of our Lord! - hath taken neither wife nor son,"
~The Qur'an (Pickthall tr), Sura 72 - The Jinn, verse 3
"The Originator of the heavens and the earth! How can He have a child, when there is for Him no consort, when He created all things and is Aware of all things ?"
~The Qur'an (Pickthall tr), Sura 6, verse 101 - The Cattle
God NEVER BEGETS, this word "begotten" was translated from the Latin word "unigenitum" which does imply begottenness, but can also imply uniqueness or chosenness.
Neither book states that Jesus is divine. There is, however, an to the Bible, 1 John 5:7 called the Comma Johanneum. This was added to the text of the Bible in the 16th century. You can see it in the KJV and NKJV.
KJV 1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
NKJV 1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.
Since the Comma appears in the Biblical text no earlier than the 16th century, and it appears nowhere in the earlier Greek documents, the Comma Johanneum is FALSE. PERIOD. That's the only Biblical reference to a trinity, and it's a false reference. The trinity is a false doctrine. God is ONE.
The Bible and Qur'an agree that Jesus (pbuh) was the holy Messenger of God.

In Christianity, Jesus is proclaimed to be son of God or God himself. The Holy Bible claims that Jesus died on the cross for the cleansing of every Christian soul. The Bible claims that Jesus will come back and preach Christendom to the whole world. In Islam, Jesus (Peace and Blessings be upon him) was a Prophet that was sent for the people of Beni-Israel (Children of Israel). The Quran states that God is one, the Almighty that he has no son or daughter or that he has a wife or relation to anyone. God is one like the Jews believe in. The Quran states that Jesus (PBUH) didn't die on the cross but was raised by God. Muslims believe that Jesus (PBUH) would come as a sign of the Day of Judgement and will be a follower of Islam and gradually, convert many Christians to Islam. Jesus (PBUH) will kill the Anti-Christ or Dajjal for Arabic and will lead his followers from the fiery attacks from Gog and Magog or Yajooj Majooj for Arabic. He will rule the world alongside with Imam Mahdi for 40 years and Jesus (PBUH) will marry and have a family and after his death is the Day of Judgement. (couple of signs before Qiyamah (Day of Resurrection).

Depend which denomination of Christianity, some never accept Jesus is goD.
Ask the Jews. Judaism is the father of Semitic / Adamic/ Abrahamic religions. Bible and Qur'an barrowed all the fables from Hebrew scriptures such as Torah..
Best of all, the father of all these religions never accept Jesus as their messiah nor prophet.

They all asked, "Are you then the Son of God?"
He replied, "You are right in saying I am."
Luke 22:70
Jesus claimed he could forgive sins, performed many miracles, claimed he and the Father were One. The Bible makes it clear that Jesus was God.
Jesus taught that he was the Only Way, and that many false prophets would arise. He said that a way to see if a prophet was false was if they rejected him. Islam borrows many ideas for Judaism and Christianity, however conveniently denies Christ's divinity.

as for the qur'an. i've never read it, and don't care to. the bible is the only true book of god, no other can match it.

One of them is right, while the other is wrong. Which is it then? Bible or Qu'ran?
John 1:1 Â In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 Â The same was in the beginning with God.
3 Â All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
I hope this helps a little.
GOD bless

Actually they don't. But the Christian tradition and body of knowledge that followed asserted Jesus' divinity. For more detail, check out Bart Ehrman's book, Lost Christianities, and the book The Construction of Orthodoxy and Heresy (I forget the author). This disagreement was the core of one of the earliest heresies.

they are not different but they are in the same position in ISLAM because the 2 of them are holly books and the 2 of them are god words but the difference is that bible has been written by people and Qraan is from god in Christianity there is more than one bible but in ISLAM there is only one Qraan because that's god words if you read both of them you will find many things common and you will find that there some phrases in bible talking about MUHAMMAD (pbuh) and in Qraan you will find many chapters talking about Jesus the prophet of Christianity because in ISLAM there is only one god
if any body want to know more about that just mail me

Christian believe that God became visible to save mankind.
"This only One and very Self is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. This also every Christian acknowledges from his doctrine and every gentile from his religion. In consequence, wherever he is, a man thinks that God is there and that he prays to God at hand; thinking and praying so, men cannot but think that God is everywhere, that is, omnipresent [in all places at all times]; likewise omniscient [all knowing] and omnipotent [all powerful]. Everyone praying to God, therefore, implores Him from the heart to lead him because He can lead him; thus he acknowledges the divine omnipresence, omniscience and omnipotence, doing so in turning his face to the Lord; thereupon the truth flows in from the Lord" (Divine Providence n. 157).
