The Bible is a precious gift from God. It is like a letter from a loving father to his children. It tells us the truth about God—who he is and what he stands for. It explains how to cope with problems and how to find true happiness. The Bible alone tells us what we must do to please God.—Psalm 1:1-3; Isaiah 48:17, 18.

The inspired word of God. It's the most accurate history book. There are NO other religion books that have ANY fulfilled prophecy. It is scientifically advanced for the age that it was written in. The Quran states that Alexander the Great traveled so far that he went to the place where the sun sets into a muddy swamp...good guess, but WRONG! Yes the Bible was written when people believed the earth was flat and others thought the sun was a god, yet it reads that the earth is a sphere (how'd they know that - God's inspired Word, that's how!) and that the sun travels on it's own path in the heavens, again inspired Word of God.

There are thousands of archeological finds that serve as proof to the events of the Bible. In fact, it is so accurate that even non-Christian archeologists look to it to locate artifacts and consider dig sites, they are usually right on.

It's where people should look in order to find out what God is, and how God thinks. It's the best source for finding out about God. It's also the best source for finding out what Jesus did. And understanding the most important things a person can understand before they die.

It gives guidance, comfort, inspiration, and believe it or not even power. Because it says that the Gospel is the power of God. (Romans 1:16)

It's an amazing book that often goes unread. Many have died to keep it. It still is banned in some countries.

Hollywood would dramatize the whole affair making the words of life some kind of rare book lost for centuries and recently found with power in it. But the Bible is common. It's everywhere in many versions so that anyone that wanted could sit down a read it. It's not lost, needs no dramatization, and remains after years of wars and persecutions.

I think that it is the "Inspired word of God."

The Bible is the word of God. Yes, it has been translated through many years. However, MOST translations go hand and hand with each other.

I was shocked and concerned at many of the responses that you have received. I would sure hate to be some on the side against the Bible. Someone asked me one day "What if it isn't real?" Well, here is my answer, I would rather put my faith in God and His word (the Bible) and have hope and happiness AND one day go to Heaven if it were true, than to burn in Hell. If it happened to not be true (which I KNOW it is) then I'd just die and that would be the end of it. Which chance are u willing to take? Look around you. Everything you see, especially the birth of a precious baby, is PROOF that the Bible is God's word and it is TRUE.

Bible conspiracy theory
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A Bible conspiracy theory is any conspiracy theory that posits that much of what is known about the Bible is a deception created to suppress some secret, ancient truth. Some of these theories claim that Jesus really had a wife and children, or that Freemasons have secret information about the true descendants of Jesus; some claim that there was a secret movement to censor books that truly belonged in the Bible, etc.

Bible conspiracy theory has its roots firstly in Bible-based theologies. The Judeo-Christian concept of conspiracies theories can be found in the Book of Jeremiah chapter 11.[1]

Not all theories involving a conspiracy of deception affecting the Bible or its interpretation are held by a small fringe. For examples, mainstream Islam teaches that the Bible was deliberately corrupted by a conspiracy of both Jewish and Christian leaders to hide God's truth, and that only with the dictation to Muhammed of the Qur'an was God's truth finally revealed.

This subject should not be confused with deliberately fictional Bible conspiracy theories. A number of bestselling modern novels have incorporated elements of bible conspiracy theories to flesh out their storylines, rather than to push these theories as actual suggestions.

It's a "book" that was written over many years in smaller books. Then some people got together to try to figure out which ones were consistent enough to be put together. They couldn't all agree so today we have different versions with different books in each one.
