Two rules
1. if your church is strongly against gambling, it's a bad idea.
2. If you've allready scratched it, and it's a loss, then it's really bad

Furthermore, once it's given, it's given. No trying to get your money if the church wins a ton of money off your ticket.

If it's a loss, that would be crude. If it's a winner, and you put it in after you find out it won $10,000, good on you.
