5 I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold, a certain man clothed in linen, whose waist was girded with gold of Uphaz! 6 His body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like torches of fire, his arms and feet like burnished bronze in color, and the sound of his words like the voice of a multitude.
7 And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision; but a great terror fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
Daniel 10:5-7 (NKJV)
14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; 15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters;

Bronze is not black, Jim. . . it's bronze. Jesus, being a Jew, is probably a swarthy Middle Eastern type, as regards His appearance.

1. Use proper spelling and capitalization next time. Save lazy writing for your cell phone. Y!A has a spell checker. When you fail to correct spelling it tells the reader that you didn't put much thought into your writing. 2. Nobody seriously argues that Jesus had blond hair and blue eyes. Blame the European artists for that misconception. Jesus was a Jew. He probably looked like the average Jew. If he looked different from other Jews then Judas wouldn't have had to pick him out of the crowd. 3. That passage is talking about when Jesus will come back, not how he looked before. He can take on any form he wishes. 4. What country do you live in? If you live in the USA, then you are about fifty years behind the times. Even black people now don't mind being called black. It's easier than saying African-American. Some people are convinced Jesus was black simply because he could have been black. That doesn't make sense. Was Jesus black? I don't know and I don't care. I doubt that he was, but the Bible doesn't discuss it much. 3.

The vision seen by Dan after days of fasting had nothing to do with Jesus.
Daniel 10
Daniel's Vision of a Man
1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a revelation was given to Daniel (who was called Belteshazzar). Its message was true and it concerned a great war. [a] The understanding of the message came to him in a vision.
2 At that time I, Daniel, mourned for three weeks. 3 I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.
4 On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was standing on the bank of the great river, the Tigris, 5 I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of the finest gold around his waist. 6 His body was like chrysolite, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.
If was a graphical picture of a great war to come. Not a person. Read it again, in context.

I think it's meant to mean that he's shining and full of splendor. But even if you're taking it as a literal color, burnished bronze and fine brass are no where near black or dark brown in tone.

I don't know if you would say He was black, but He was likely dark-skinned. Isaiah says that there was nothing about Jesus that set Him apart from other men. He didn't look extreamly handsome. He was not 12" taller than everyone else. He was "normal". Since the people of that region are dark-skinned, then it stands to reason that Jesus was also.
I, personally, would not use the passage in Rev. The book is very figuarative and symbolic. The comparisons you site are frequently considered to reflect His character. But, yes, Jesus was most likely dark-skinned.

Daniel 10:6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
If you look at the people over where Jesus came from, they are all dark complected.
In Revelation 1:14-15
This is the description of Jesus at the end of times.
Revelation 1:14-15
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
I am so looking forward to seeing Jesus come back for His Chruch on that cloud!! Praise the Lord.

not necessarily black but if you look at the way people look around the meditaranean you will notice that they are of an olive complexion. In those days since they had no sun screen and were out side all the time he wouldv'e had a natural tan and made him look darker. I do know he wasn't white, had long hair and facial hair. All of those things were forbidden in rabbinical law, and after all Jesus was a rabbi.

According to Islam and logic, jesus wasn't black he was armanian so he'd look like any modern Arab basically, and He wasn't a Blonde blue eye'd straight haired european, Last time I checked Nazarath was in Palestine, and His hair was curly did I mention? Anyway he'll show you how he looks when he comes back to earth and he'll arrive at a mosque and not a church since he really is Muslim, he never said he was the son of God and his message was clear, he even mentioned in the unaltered bible that there was going to be a Prophet by the name of Mohammed come out some time, and he came out. And the Prophet Mohammed(S) said that Jesus WILL RETURN

Jesus was certainly not european looking but unlikely he was what would be called a "black person" today. the BBC did a special a couple years back where they reconstructed what a person of jesus' background could possibly look like. Evidence shows that the hebfrews of the ancient world were not as caucasian looking as the Israeli's today who spent a thousand plus years scattered throughout Europe. The middleeast wa a hub of trade, mixing various cultures, ethnic groups and races. The odds of him being of purely african stock are low, but not as low as the chance he was of european origin.
Jesus was likley a brown man who some might confuse for a "black man" but I am not sure he would call himself that. Much like various North african people today. I have met Ethiopians (very significant since there are still "black jewish" people who claim lineage from Solomon) who say they are not "black".

Isn't brass fairly near to a golden color?More akin to the color of some light skinned person with a tan.
