So how then, do you feel when you see starving and sick children; those who are horrifically injured in war and others who spend their brief childhoods being beaten and abused by those who are supposed to love them?

If God is love, then he is also pain, suffering and torment.

How on earth is it that you can justify this to yourself.

I don't wish to sound badgering or confrontational, but I've never heard a sensible explanation of how Christians or other people of faith can come to terms with this obvious discrepancy.

The Bible says in Revelations 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

I am really excited to hear about any healing miracles?

Also in Revelations 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Funny thing about the Holy Bible is it says "be ye perfect" and "be ye also merciful"; notably as perfect & merciful as your Father in heaven(higher than the heavens) is perfect & merciful.

It also says at the throne of "grace" only "mercy" is "obtain"-able; thereby peace assured rather than division. In comparison & contrast at a throne of "law worketh wrath" only accusation & condemnation of law imputed sin, bloodshed & sacrifice(slaughter) are obtainable; thereby "destruction".

As for God(Grace), his stated will is: "I will have mercy(grace), and not sacrifice(law)"; noting "the only true God" of false/true Gods never desired nor ever took pleasure in sacrifice for sin, which is by the law & of the law: Ps 40:6: Ps 51:16; Hos 6:6; Mt 9:13; Mt 12:7; Heb 10:all. So the "not" part of "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice" is not then, not now, not ever. For by the evidence it is "evident" that "no man is justified by the law in the sight of God(Grace)", not even Jesus of JC.

I've always felt things that are similar between different civilizations in the world could be true, like dragons and bigfoots. People used to banish people for different reasons in the past, these people could explain bigfoot. But saying they don't know Christ wouldn't be their fault, didn't have the opportunity to. Wouldn't God except them.

According to the jehovah writness sect's on teachings only the most least sinful will go to heaven and be with jesus/god. So if 144,000 only are to live with god for a thousand years and assuming god really is kind, loving and just doesn't that means 144,000 jw children will be chosen.
Even if adults were the 144,000, If given a choice would not adult jws trade places with children to get them into heaven?
Tyat means all these jws are not going to heaven as there are much more than 144,000 children.

Scientists search and find something, then explore further.
Physicists will follow a theory to eternity.
Manthaticians are always adding to get that one more zero!
Archeologists keep digging farther back into the past.
NASA started with a kid's rocket and sent big ones to who knows where ... insearch of whatever they can find.

These people are hungry for truth and knowledge, attributes that will help humanity ...

Christians stop with "I'm Saved" and disregard any ancient religous documentation those other folks find. Why is that? Why do Christians settle at one point and brush away anything new, specially if it's old or ancient. I mean, these ancient writings are right up your alley (religously speaking) and a great deal of care is taken handeling and de-codeing them ... but you say, "Naaa, it just doesn't fit in with what I believe."

You folks wan'a clue me in on why you reject your past?
