There are an awful lot of instances where Bush has been caught cursing on tape. But evangelical Christians, as he claims to be, aren't supposed to curse, or use the Lord's name in vain, both things he has been caught doing.

So is W really an evangelical Christian, or is he just playing the religious right like a drum? And if he's lying about that, what else has he lied to you about?

I heard somewhere that in Genesis.. where it's telling about the days in which God created the earth.. that there was an error in translation. That the word the interpreted as "day" actually mean " million years".. what do you think of this theory?

In other words.. it actually took God 6 million years to make the earth and people.

i am(or was or whatever) a christian....but all this christianity story sounds a lilttle bit strange to me so i want to do a kind of experiment. For two weeks i'll be an atheist to see if there will be any changes in my mind...it seems pretty logical what atheists say so i'd like to see if it's better to be an atheist than a christian...lol...it sounds crazy, but i want to know what you think, and if you think that more christians should do the same to see if there will be any changes in their mentality

I never saw any Christians put a gun to anyone's head to convert them. What is wrong with showing someone the love of Christ, What is wrong with letting them know that Jesus loves them. What you unbelieving attackers do not realize is irregardless of what you hear or how it is said, Hell is a real place and those who do not choose Christ will be thrown in it. It is a Christians place to bring others to Christ. I have also noticed no matter what a Christian says, you call us bigots, thumpers. If we preach love you hate us, if we preach about hell, you hate us. It is a good thing we live for Christ, not you. Throughout history Christians have been persecuted, and that did not stop us, your name calling will not deter us either. WE PUT GOD FIRST, and everything else comes next.

No, really, I want to know who, if anyone, honestly believes this.
And if you do, how do you explain it? If Satan "planted" these marvellously preserved bones of dinosaurs, to confuse us and to distract us from god, why then wouldn't god simply erase them? As if they had never been?
Is satan then, more powerful than god? Can satan make something that god cannot un-do?
Isn't it FAR more likely that these two fictional characters exist only in a book of bronze-age jewish mythology?
And that dinosaurs, as we all know, were real and continue to reveal the facts about life millions of years ago?
Yes, that certainly does make more sense now doesn't it?
