There are an awful lot of instances where Bush has been caught cursing on tape. But evangelical Christians, as he claims to be, aren't supposed to curse, or use the Lord's name in vain, both things he has been caught doing.

So is W really an evangelical Christian, or is he just playing the religious right like a drum? And if he's lying about that, what else has he lied to you about?

Well, different Christians often have different standards of morality. Perhaps if Bush has cursed or used the Lord's name in vain, he feels that these are NOT sins. I don't think this is grounds for claiming that he's lying to manipulate the religious right.

However, I'm sure there are many other things Bush needs to rethink...

First of all we are talking about a politician so I have yet 2 see your point.
The next thing is that people have 2 get rid of this misconception that christians do not sin. Everyone sins at some point of time as no person is perfect. To be without sin is 2 be Jesus. The only difference between a christian & a non-believer is that the christian is truly sorry that he has comitted the sin, he repents & asks forgiveness from God & if he is forgiven if he really is truly sorry.

It really pains me to defend Geo W, but he cursed because he is human. I slip when I am irritated, as well, but I am human and I will sin everyday of my life. So do you sin and everyone reading this message sin in some way.

We do the best we can to be a good person, but bad situations seem to get the best of us and we slip.
Not all Christians are Republicans. It's not a law.
Nobody is perfect. That was Jesus' position.
Geo W is far from perfect, but he is at least trying to share his faith, when he can. That I will give him.

You understand neither term.Shut up 'till you can put up.
As to expletives there is no prohibition. These are what you mistakenly refer to as curses and using the Lords name in vain.

Ha-Ha, that is SO FUNNY :)

Bush does lots of things "Good Christians" ain't supposed to do--like Murder People on Death row, allow innocent people to be killed in a WAR BASED ON LIES, and cut back on social programs for the poor when Jesus said "what you do to the least of these, you do to me".

George Bush is a MAN OF GOD! He doesn't swear or use profanity. If he has, it's because he's a HUMAN like everyone else. He asks for FORGIVENESS and knows when he does WRONG and SINS!

God Bless!

Bush lie??? I find that hard to believe.

I can't wait to see the Iraqi WMDs.
Or my government aid for Hurricane Katrina.
Luckily, we live in a democracy.
