1. Proof of God is nature (trees, babies faces)
2. Read the Bible
3. God is trying to communicate with you right now.

But . . . .

1. God won't call me on the telephone.
2. God won't be sending me an email.
3. God won't be appearing on television.

And . .
If I don't believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus, when God does make his next appearance, I will bend on my knee to him, and then be cast into a Lake of Fire as prescribed in Revelation chapter 21.

Feel free to express your childhood beliefs and if anything caused your views to change.

My Example:
I, myself, was raised christian and stuck with it. My views never really changed over the years although I did have a curiousity in the wiccan belief and have dabbled. But then I got out of that and back to my roots again as a christian.

I have various puddles in my basement that me and my kids are finding. There is no leak in a floor board or pipe. Nothing leaking around it. These are BIG puddles, like 2-4 cups of water right in the middle of the floor. What could it be? I've already ruled out I think, everything...? It is water. Not pee, or anything else....
Help me try and figure this one out....What do you think?

we all know the gospel inconsistencies 1) disagreement on who was at the tomb, 2) only one gospel mentions an earthquake 3) not all of them mention angels.4) no roman record of prisoner release tradition. what other facts can we list? Joseph of Aramathea provided the tomb, is he a suspect?

You believe what you believe because of where you were born and the way you were raised.

If your birth circumstances occurred in a different geological loacation on planet earth - you'd be sputtering a different rhetoric.

Those two statements above prove that mans truth for a true GOD is infalable. NO one GOD is better than any other GOD! Jesus's existence is no more potent than the SUN GOD's existance.

I mean, I hate to call people out by names, but there is an old lady who asks questions, that aren't really questions at all in here and uses some freaky typing styles. It gets a bit annoying and is somewhat distracting with trying to sort through the crap that's on here already to find the substantial content.

Like capitalizing every other word is going to make me pay closer attention? Is there a way to "help" these kinds of people to stop it? If not, how do you learn to skip over those questions and answers?

i read somewhere that the reason why jesus had to be born of a virgin is because all babies who are conceived sexually are born into sin. if this is true, then it stands to reason that all of the test tube babies are born sin-free as well.

it might be argued that the means by which we we procure the "ingredients" is unholy (i.e.- the father needs to pleasure himself into a cup). but i don't think this is true anymore, at least,,, it doesn't need to be,, not these days anyway. we've hit a level of science where it's not hard at all to extract the sperm and egg surgically. and if it's important, the mother and father can easily be virgins.

so my question is, are we at an age where we can create a baby free of original sin?

(please don't answer with "no" and then not elaborate. you have to give a reason why this test tube baby is born into sin. you can't say that all men are born into it because of what adam did, because that wouldn't excuse jesus, who was the ........ (read more)
