CHRISTIANS: are test tube babies not born into sin? (READ MORE)?

i read somewhere that the reason why jesus had to be born of a virgin is because all babies who are conceived sexually are born into sin. if this is true, then it stands to reason that all of the test tube babies are born sin-free as well.

it might be argued that the means by which we we procure the "ingredients" is unholy (i.e.- the father needs to pleasure himself into a cup). but i don't think this is true anymore, at least,,, it doesn't need to be,, not these days anyway. we've hit a level of science where it's not hard at all to extract the sperm and egg surgically. and if it's important, the mother and father can easily be virgins.

so my question is, are we at an age where we can create a baby free of original sin?

(please don't answer with "no" and then not elaborate. you have to give a reason why this test tube baby is born into sin. you can't say that all men are born into it because of what adam did, because that wouldn't excuse jesus, who was the ........ (read more)

........... who was the human embodiment of god. after all,, jesus wasn't born of a virgin for no reason. avoiding the act of conception is what allowed him to be free of original sin, right?

so what about a test tube baby then?

It is not sexual activity that transfers original sin. There is nothing sinful about sex between a married couple.

We are born with a sinful nature, not born carrying the original sin. We make our own sin once we understand right from wrong. This sinful nature can be harnessed, but we are never able to be 100% perfect. Therefore the need for the sacrifice of a perfect lamb, Jesus.

All children are born "into" sin, but, not "out of" sin.The act of coming into 'this' world, where sin is abundant, is the act of being born into sin. Since the infant has no choice of how, when, or why they come into this world --- they are innocent bystanders, due to the fact, they had no choice whatsoever.Although, it is possible for two virgins to create a child (or, at least contribute) that in itself does not create an immaculate conception.

We are born into sin, by the actions of Adam and Eve. Since Jesus and God are One, then Jesus can't sin.

Beware of misleading information. No man is ever free from sin. Babies are automatically sent to heaven when they die, because they havent learned the difference between right and wrong. Once they knowingly commit their first sin, they must accept Jesus as their savior in order to enter into Heaven. whether a child is concieved through intercourse or through medical research, the child is still a result of human origins (human body fluid). Sin-nature has nothing to do with sexual activity, it has to do with being a human. Original sin will always exist for the rest of eternity due to the sins of Adam & Eve.
