They may, but I won't. A line from The Little Prince says, "It is only with the heart that one can see clearly. What is essential is invisible to the eye." Poor precious. I read someones answer to something the other day that was really good. He said something about the scientists inventing a camera that can take pictures of the spirit realm, so that all those who only believe the physical realm can see that the other one exists as well. Maybe some day that will happen. Something to consider..."unless you become as a little child you will not be able to see/enter into the Kingdom of God." "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God." He doesn't let everyone see Him. You have to attune yourself to His "station"...like a radio frequency. Now, isn't that a little different than what you've been hearing?

Know one knows your heart like God. I can not say you will be cast into the lake of fire, I am not God.
And you know, God can do all things, so He might send you an e-mail or even that telephone call.
And the Lord said I put before you life and death, blessings and curses, choose life so that you may live.

God is pretty important. He doesn't use email or the telephone. He has representatives on TV like Benny Hinn. You can watch them any time--they're on 24x7. The only way God really communicates to you personally is through your heart.
God is in your heart whenever you look at a sailboat, a baby, puppies or a pretty landscape and say "Gee that's nice." God is in your heart when you read passages from Leviticus or Revelation and say "That isn't insane, not one bit." God is also in your heart when you beat on atheists, foreigners, and queers.
God is not in your heart when you look at somebody and and say "Damn, I gotta get me some of that!" Now do you understand? So is God speaking to you now? Or are you looking at Internet porn? That makes baby Jesus cry you see.
I hope you can open your heart to all his goodness and forget about any fixations you have about logic, proof and reason. That's the only way to save yourself from the fiery pit. It's no Orange Julius down there, let me tell you.

Mentioning telephone, television and e-mails shows thinking on a physical level only.
You might recall God is not a physical being.
However, you have a brain and the power of reason.
You may wish to reason on the logic of Hebrews 3:4.
Even if you don't like what it says, a loving God will not throw you into a lake of fire.
That idea, as you well pointed out, is from the book of Revelation.
Does it need to be repeated that the book itself says it is a book of symbolism ....meaning not to be taken literally?

The proof of God is in the Bible. If you simply refuse to believe the words of the Bible, then you cannot begin to learn how to be saved and avoid being cast into the Lake of Fire.

Not all of us. For me I would say God is in my heart, He is Love, He is in the Sacrifice of the Altar, I feel Him, I hear Him with my soul, and I do not presume to know for sure just how He will deal with any of us. As I have said that as a Catholic I think we may just all have a surprise coming. The God I love is a loving God, a merciful God. We will just have to wait and see.

Yes, because of the things you said are true. Accepting God as your Lord and Savior and following his teachings is the only way to go through the gates of Heaven! PRAISE THE LORD!

I agree with alot of what your saying minus the 'tude
There is wonderful proofs of God in nature and you have to excert effort to not see them in natural revelation
The problem is nature is not sufficient to learn of God's mercies and... yes... special revelation tells you additional things about the character of God essential for salvation

Well I know god has not spoken to me, not seen any burning bushes, and I have call waiting so not buying the line was busy excuse. On the broader scope, people will say god is talking to you, if, it rains on your picnic, does not rain on your picnic, if your team wins, or loses, etc.
