The Jews were the first peoples to have a monotheistic ( one deity ) religion. There was an Egyptian Pharaoh who tried to get his kingdom to worship just one god, but after he died, the people reverted to polytheism (multiple deities).Prior, to the Jews, all religions at the time were polytheist.Though, in general, the first peoples to worship a human like deity were the Cro Magnon people, as evidenced by the numerous Goddess artifacts excavated and dated to around 25,000 b.c.e.

By definition, the one true God is the source of all creation, who was before there was anything else. It's a difficult concept to grasp since everything that is--we presume--once was not. But we are also taught by physicists that matter can neither be created nor destroyed, it merely changes forms, energy being one of those forms. So if matter can neither be created nor destroyed, it must always have existed. Unless, of course, there is something that exists outside the realm of physics, a source of all existence, of all creation. Can the finite--man--truly comprehend the infinite? And what is the infinite if not God? Or is God merely a label we place on the unknown & the unknowable? Which opens another question: What is the nature of God?

God was always there from all eternity. If you think someone created God than who created that person ,etc. People aren't clever enough to make up "the concept" of God. they have with other religions but thats only because they took things from chrisitianity and made other religions to get away from God. christianity was first.

Hi,

Men - off course. God is a superficial creation made by man. It is said that when someone believes in God, then they feel that you are always being watched and that helps you in sticking to the right things in life.

Many psychic analysis - have proved that this feeling and belief has brought in better results and performance in people over a period of time.

Cheers...

God is not a person, thing, or an object. He has always existed. No one created him. Him existing lies only within the person who believes in him.

God is eternal. He always was, is and shall be.

And He is a mystery just as an ocean liner is a mystery to an ant treading by on the pier since that, too, is forever beyond the ant's comprehension.

Geesh ... I think this question is asked nearly every day!

God is un-created ... He has always been. He is the only self-existent, eternal being
