Why do non-believers come to the CHRISTIAN SECTION of this internetpage and PERSECUTE BELIEVERS!? Are they feeling the CONVICTION of the HOLY SPIRIT in their HEARTS, but don't know what to do about it!?

COME TO JESUS! He will SAVE you and FILL YOU WITH JOY and HAPPINESS!

Ask Jesus into your HEART and know he DIED FOR YOUR SINS on CALVARY! Then you will KNOW you are going to HEAVEN when you DIE!

John 3:16

This is the religion and spirituality section. To clarify from dictionary.com

The definition of religion:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/religion

The definition of spirituality:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/spirituality

If you will notice, the word "Christian" or any other specific religious name does not appear in either definition. There are many religions in the world. They all qualify as religions---not just the particular religion that you believe in.

I am not a non-believer. I am a very religious person but my religion is not Christianity. I am here to learn about other religions and to share about my own beliefs. I respect your beliefs and wish you well on your path. All I ask is respect in return. Will you treat me and others with the same respect that you would like for us to give to you?

By the way, did you know that using all capital letters in a post on the internet means that you are yelling? This is considered impolite. I just figured that you might not know that you are yelling when you post words in capital letters. Just want to help you understand how you are coming across to other people.

First off..it's the Religion and Spirituality section, i.e. not just for Christians.

Second if you're going to quote John 3:16 you might want to actually quote it.....
"For god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not parish but have everlasting life"

I know that and I'm Pagan. *Gasp* Oh no! A pagan that has read the bible.....What has the world come to? Quick somebody get out the holy water. And you want to talk about persicution???? HELLO! Crusades? Witch trials? Ring a bell? When has a Christian ever been burned at the stake for reading books or knowing which root would help heal a tooth ache?

Learn about other religions before you pass judgement....Oh, oh here comes another one....

"Judge not lest ye be judged yourself."

Hooked on phonics did not work for you? If it had, you would have been able to read where it says "religion and spirituality section". Christians want to take over the site, and persecute all others. Persecution is: burning people, riping them up, crusading, and all of those kinds of things that the Christians did to nonbelievers. Those poor Christians. Fill up on Jesus? That is like trying to satisfy thirst by drinking air. You can not ask anything of Jesus, because he does not exist. How would dying help anyone.

Not the christian section, sorry :(

And leave jebus and come to Thor, and You will be filled with joy and happiness. Jesus didn't die for my sins. He died for his actions that were against the law at the time. He was sentenced to death, in a legal and deserving manner. He was a law breaker of the time. I have read the bibble, heaven sounds rather droll and boring. Good thing my religion has much better views on the after life.

Yes, this is a religious section but most come here looking for something REAL to believe.
That "searching for something" feeling cannot go away...so they search and search.....
They do not know why nothing satisfies them. do not know that G-d will fill that longing in their souls.
I also believe some are led by G-d for a second chance.
I believe some are led by satan to confound and confuse. Thus the nastiness.

Christians KNOW which is which.
It is our job to enlighten them w/the WORD thru the Holy Spirit to a Loving, Living G-d.
We care about them, G-d surely loves them and we just can't let them go to Hell because no one told them there is a better way.
They don't know someone in Heaven is waiting just to hear they are on their way too.
They don't know satan is out to rob, destroy and kill them. THAT is his job.

Oh, with your dying breath, keep on telling them so they will know. Not all will accept..............but they will know.
NO wonder G-d said for some, "it is better they had never been born...." sad sad

This is not the Christian section. That is the problem with them, they do not respect that other people have beliefs that are different from theirs. You can quote the bible all you want and it will not change the fact that other people have their own beliefs. Christianity is not the only religion. When Muslims quote the Koran and preach to you that it is the only truth do you believe them and convert to Islam? You are doing the same thing here.

Well, I have to defend the fact that this section isn't for Christians only. It's open to any religion, faith, etc. If you're looking for a strictly Christian forum, I would do a Google search for some.

There IS no Christian section of Yahoo! Answers. There is, however, a religion & spirituality section. Please pay more attention to what you're commenting on so as not to come across as an ignorant Christian. It does NOT help our cause.

Marvel not that Satan is an angel of light! How do you tell between the true holy spirit and a religious evil spirit?

This isn't the Christian section, it's the religion and spirituality section. Perhaps you need to go somewhere that caters to Christians exclusivley.
