I read the entire Bible as a child, and it's not too hard to see where it falls apart if you take it as seriously as some Christians do. As ancient mythic literature, it ain't bad, though.
Probably the first contradiction comes within the first two chapters, just like it's been written by an existentialist. You know that first chapter, where creation happens and man comes about last and is pretty okay with that fact? Well, in the second chapter, unless you have the New International Version (in which a verse was *changed* to avoid the contradiction), creation happens again, in a different order. God makes a man, and then he makes animals, and then he makes a woman. In the first chapter, animals come first, and then man and woman follow at the same time.
It makes sense when you consider that those two stories were written at different times by different authors, with the second chapter *much* older and with more Egyptian imagery. The first chapter was a pretty late addition and can be interpreted as a polemic against Babylonian paganism. You know how it starts with "In the beginning there was such and such, and there was just God and a bunch of water" and so on? That's to contrast with how the Babylonians preached the the world was carved out from the corpse of a dragon.
This stuff gives us valuable insight into the way ancient people thought, but it's not terribly enlightening if we take it at face value (or as a religious holy text).

how about that god made adam and eve, they had Cain and Abel, Cain killed Abel and then all of a sudden Cain had a wife that sprung up from nowhere?
and then he travelled to the land of nod or wherever and there were all these other people! No mention of them before that, the bible only explains the presence of three people on earth and all of a sudden theres this huge population!
and then theres the matter of "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die"
and then they eat from that tree and STRANGELY they dont die.. later it actually says that adam died at the age of 930
4:22 Now Zillah also gave birth to Tubal-Cain, who heated metal and shaped48 all kinds of tools made of bronze and iron. The sister of Tubal-Cain was Naamah
if there were blacksmiths at the dawn of time, why were people making everything out of wood and stone for hundreds and hundreds of years?
"Adam was 930 years, and then he died"
ok the minimum heart rate that a person can survive on is around 30-40 beats per minute...the maximum heartbeat is something like 225- age, for this to be true, adam would have had to have a MAXIMUM heartbeat of minus 705
and thats enough to tell me that the bible is nonsense on stilts

this question is pointless since no matter what i put you are gonna have some excuse for it. Such For they provoked Him with their high places,
And aroused His jealousy with their graven images (Psalm 78:58). Prov. 14:30, "A sound heart is life to the body; but jealousy is rottenness to the bonesJealousy is a discontent with the blessings of successes of other people, a resentment of other people for what they have received. Therefore, it is total selfishness and is incapable of love. Love and jealousy are mutually exclusive.
the bible also says god is love hmmmm im sure u dont see the contradictions there ya go proof from the bible god has comitted a sin jelousy and then goes on to say god is perfec dont seem perfect to me.

There are no Contradictions in the Writings of The Apostles or Paul their are some in the Translations , I could give a long list, but it is mostly in the language and , there were different translators from different Colleges, who used certain words that others did not and they added a lot of words to suit their misunderstanding.

The Bible was translated by men who were not always, if ever, inspired by God to do so. Hence, the words of our modern translation cannot be trusted 100%. There must be some contradictions, but I neither dwell on them nor do I use them as a reason not to use the Bible to obtain the word of God and to learn more of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

These "contradictions" appear numerous at first, but they all disappear once you begin reading the Bible in context. For example, the contradiction that Jesus' death covers all sins and Jesus saying that all who blaspheme against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. Seems pretty contradictory, until you read those verses in context. If you blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, you lose that will to call upon Christ for salvation, and thus, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven. If you were able to call on Christ after committing blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, you would be forgiven, but your soul and mind loses the will and want to ask Jesus for salvation, so you can't call on Jesus.

There are so many I don't know where to begin, but let's look at the most blindingly obvious one - the old and the new testament, you can't honestly say that they complement each other. But then again religion is based on blind faith so I suppose it doesn't really matter whether the fairy tale contradicts itself or not...

I don't think they can. They are just trying to stir up dust.
To the first answer--
EDIT: Okay I went to your website and looked at the book of John. Most of your contradictions come from JW or Mormon which are pseudo-Christian cults with corrupted scriptures. The other contradictions are your mishandling the text. you have no real contradictions-just anti-God rhetoric.

I'll give you one on the two contradictory creation accounts.
Humans were created after animals: "And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." (Genesis 1:25-27)
Humans were created before other animals:
"And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof." (Genesis 2:18-19)
Which one is it? Read the Bible and you will find more.
