I'm material too, so you can say, that I can only be happy in a material world. Any where else I wouldn't exist. Happiness is your own responsibility. If you are not happy, it's your own fault. Probably because you believe in some where else.

I am happy despite it not just being a "material world" but despite all of the other chaos that surrounds us.

Why. Because I understand who I am and the concept of what I truly control; myself and only myself.

Life is not about what happens to you. Life is about how you react to what happens around you.

You are responsible for choosing happiness. Allowing others to choose for you leads to unhappiness.

Choose happiness.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy. It's always been a materialistic world, however. It's always been a case of wanting something or NEEDING something to get by or be able to live. The only difference is these modern times have SO many more things to be materialistic about.

I don't need to pretend Narnia is real to be happy.

My joy is in the Lord. I'd rather be with Him any day, but He fills me with His joy, blesses me, and sustains me while I'm here, so for that I'm thankful.
