In regards to my question about the Catholic Church changing the day of worship, thanks to all who answered. A couple of people recommended the following website. It is the best website I've ever seen regarding the Sabbath. It addressed everything that people wrote in answer to my question. It is my priviledge to pass it on to everyone.

Ok sighs I have been a Christian and have assisted a evangelical church since I was 5. I use to participate in bible study class and some activities, but suddenly something happened, I had a bad experience with a few "friends" and decided to stop going to bible study class and just decided to listen to the sermons every Sundays without having to interact with people of my age group.
I lost the opportunity to get baptized since 16, is the best age of getting baptized I assume.Now at almost 20 I feel bad and pressured to get baptized. My mother has been criticizing me saying that I have been in that church for years and there are people who are new members and have baptized already and I have been there for years and seems that I am not a member.I basically don't do it because I am very very shy and scared of huge crowds. By church is HUGE, and they do the baptism ceremonies in front of all of them because the pool is in front. They even put a "high" tech screen so that everybody can

I got to thinking after seeing some other questions on here about Atheist that alot of their answers as to what the lack of a belief in a higher being has done for them is the same that the Belief in GOD has done for me and alot of other people I know. So my question is this
Why do Atheist feel they have to bash Christians?
I am solely basing this off of my own experience not anyone else's. I am strong in my faith and with that comes the feeling of responsibility in spreading the news. THis offend Athiest. why not say that's nice and walk away or don't get involved in the conversation. Why do they feel that if anything in public has reference to GOD that they have to rebuke it and throw a fit. Just ignore it, I hate porn shops but I would not join in a group to shut them down, even if I feel they should be becuz everyone has to make a choice, right? Who am I to tell you not to walk into a building becuz it has Porn?
I am just saying let it alone people. don't like it don't read it

This is question 25 in my ongoing probe into the consensus on GOD, the Bible, and the Religions that follow them.

25. How do you know which Rich Guy, Derranged Artist, Asian Monarch, or Insane Biochemist is GOD?

If you still believe that GOD is a Man, Woman, Child, Animal, Humanoid, Cyborg, Sentient Being, Cosmic Entity, or other life form, how will you know that the one that claims to be GOD is actually GOD? Any being with tremendous power could claim to be GOD. The Bible is full of beings with miraculous capabilitied outside of normal human parameters. Doctors save flatliners every day, and the Salvation Army has been feeding milions for decades. Keep in mind that this being can refuse to show us proof because the Bible says not to test GOD.

If you claim that noone is capable of a feat that would convince you that they were GOD but GOD, how can you be so sure? And, don't say "Faith" or "I'd just know", because those are lame copout answers that DO NOT answer the question.

to be evolved to a higher altitude than most humans. Roaches can claim that they finished evolving long ago. Viruses can claim to be evolving faster than we are. Why do we think we are more highly evolved than anything? What makes us think that this supposedly random process has a direction that we can discern and arrogantly claim that we are further along than anything else on earth? Isn't this a circular definition of evolution? How do we define "Most High"?

Here are some questions I have found difficult for my Christian friends to answer:

Why doesn’t the bible talk more about pre-human history?
How come there is no scientific evidence for the world being created in 7 days.
Why do Christians discriminate against science only when it serves them to?
How did Mary become pregnant?
How did Noah get too many animals from all over the world to fit in a space to small for the 1/2 of the species in California alone?
Why is there no fossil record of a worldwide flood?
Why is there a fossil record?
Why do Buddhists believe in Buddhism?
Why doesn’t the bible talk about the creation of the universe?
Who created the universe?
Wouldn't you think that an accomplishment as great as creating the universe would be noteworthy in comparison to the creation of the earth?
If man wrote the bible, how can it be infallible?
Is a man inspired by "God" still a man?
Who was the judge of the accuracy of the writings of the bible at the times that it was written?
Why do we go to church when the bible explicitly says that no man or organization can be a representation of God?
Why do Buddhist believe in Buddhism?
What makes Buddhism wrong, and Christianity right? Does "God" give Christians the right to go to war with those who believe otherwise?

If humans came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys? If that part of the theory was true, then there was no need for us to evolve beyond monkeys who are apparently surviving fine and well

I believe everything in the Bible is literally true!
People act like the Word of God says they will act, and the world
operates like God and Jesus mention in the Book.
If nothing in it was true/correct (as scoffers say) how could this be?
Why do preachers have power within my soul, and the world's
"preachers" make me feel empty, when I hear them? I used to
feel sick to my stomach whenever Bill Clinton's voice came on
the radio or TV!
