This Psalm is too long and I'm not a good enough Bible scholar to give you a verse by verse decoding but I'll do the best I can.
vs. 1: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Christ called this out just before he died on the cross. (Matthew 27:46)
vs. 7&8: "All who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads: "He trusts in the Lord; let the Lord rescue him. Let him deliver him, since he delights in him."
Matthew 27:42&43: "The people who stood at the foot of cross said "He saved others," they said, "but he can't save himself! He's the King of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, 'I am the Son of God!'"
vs. 14-18 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart has turned to wax; it has melted away within me. My strength is dried up like a partsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death. Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they pierced my hands and my feet. I can count all my bones; people stare and gloat over me. They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing.
Sounds like a crucifixion to me! On top of that, crucifixion was not known as a method of execution at the time when this Psalm was written. Also: Matthew 27:34&35: "They came to a place called Golgotha (which means The Place of the Skull). There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall; but after tasting it, he refrused to drink it. When they had crucified him they divided up his clothes by casting lots."
The remaining verses proclaim that Israel should honor and revere "the afflicted one" because God has not despised or disdained his suffering. It also says: "All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and the families of the nations will bow down before him." vs27
If you have ever read the Gospels then it would be hard to miss the allusions to Christ and the crucifixion. Why don't you read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and see for yourself.

Psalm 22 – the psalm Jesus referred to on the cross…
Verse 6: But I [am] a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
A worm? What’s up with that?
The Hebrew lexicon is “towla”.
Check out “Towla”…

the worm "coccus ilicis" ++++ When the female of the scarlet worm species was ready to give birth to her young, she would attach her body to the trunk of a tree, fixing herself so firmly and permanently that she would never leave again. The eggs deposited beneath her body were thus protected until the larvae were hatched and able to enter their own life cycle. As the mother died, the crimson fluid stained her body and the surrounding wood. From the dead bodies of such female scarlet worms, the commercial scarlet dyes of antiquity were extracted. What a picture this gives of Christ, dying on the tree, shedding His precious blood that He might "bring many sons unto glory" (Heb. 2:
Can you stand it?

sorry this isnt an answer to the question at hand but i need to answer one of your previus questions and i dont know how to e-mail you or what ever
-Your Question-what would intrege a non believer to have a 1on1 conversation w/ a believer
-My answer-ask them good questions. my favorite:
-r u 100% sure u r going to heaven?
-what do u think happens after we die ?
-how do u think you go to heaven?
these 3 work great but remember when talking to them that you cant just tell them what u think. it never works . u need to listen to them and ask them questions that will lead to them asking u your opinion. that way they asked you to tell them what you want to tell them.
P.S. does anyone no how to contact the person asking the question after the question is closed?thanks and have a good life
