Its their way of showing disrespect and hatred toward you for being different, but hey im sure some mean well

Because their bible tells them so. They so overwhelmingly believe the bible is the 100% truth and that there is a God out there, watching over all of his "creations."
I don't let it bother me when they say that... I usually just nod or say thanks. Most of the time, it's not worth getting into a big heavy-duty discussion with them about it.
Unless I already have a bug in my butt over some religious thing... then I might tell them I'm agnostic, but thank you anyway.
It is more important every day that we do say something, though, so the God-folk know they are not the only people in this world. They must know that there are those of us who either know there is no God (how they know, I don't know) or those of us who prefer to believe in things we can prove and there is no way to prove once and for all that God exists (Agnostics Unite!).
I prefer to believe in truths and facts than fairy tales.

Why would you not believe that? God created the world, and everything on it. He even sacrificed his own son out of love for the people on it. God loves you. Believe.

I feel for you if you don't believe that God loves you. He is the only one that does love you no matter what and by not believing that truth you are missing out.

God is present in any living thing, after all we're God's creation. Does someone in your life love you? Then there you have it, that love has its origins in God.
Don't take things too literally. The world, life, were not meant to be taken so literally. Scratch at things and you'll find more understanding beneath the surface.

Relax, God does love you! He won't hate you for being rude, mean, spiteful, non-believing etc. He will always love you because you are His child.
You may not admit that out loud, but that is OK for now. You don't have to believe in that on my response.
I will pray for you to receive a clear message of His love and then you will feel more alive than ever before!!!! Please don't deny it at first, it will feel positive and incredible!

HE does love you believe it or not it is true. Now if you don't believe in God you WILL once you reach judgement day which everyone will be judged. Tell me this... Why don't you believe that God loves you????????

Because what else do you think that He died for you,
have given you breath, and still you wake up in the morning and still breathing.. The breath that you have doesn't belong to you, it belongs to God. He can take it away when he want to, so why He have kept it in you, Because he loves you!!!!

Because it makes them feel better about themselves. Who cares what THEY believe. What matters is what you believe.
Everybody thinks everybody else is going to hell because everybody else doesn't believe in everybodies god. It's very amusing to watch.
It's like watching a sitcom about insecurity. My god has a bigger penis then your god does.
