Here are some questions I have found difficult for my Christian friends to answer:

Why doesn’t the bible talk more about pre-human history?
How come there is no scientific evidence for the world being created in 7 days.
Why do Christians discriminate against science only when it serves them to?
How did Mary become pregnant?
How did Noah get too many animals from all over the world to fit in a space to small for the 1/2 of the species in California alone?
Why is there no fossil record of a worldwide flood?
Why is there a fossil record?
Why do Buddhists believe in Buddhism?
Why doesn’t the bible talk about the creation of the universe?
Who created the universe?
Wouldn't you think that an accomplishment as great as creating the universe would be noteworthy in comparison to the creation of the earth?
If man wrote the bible, how can it be infallible?
Is a man inspired by "God" still a man?
Who was the judge of the accuracy of the writings of the bible at the times that it was written?
Why do we go to church when the bible explicitly says that no man or organization can be a representation of God?
Why do Buddhist believe in Buddhism?
What makes Buddhism wrong, and Christianity right? Does "God" give Christians the right to go to war with those who believe otherwise?

ill try. let me read....

1. the bible doesent talk about prehuman history because no one could remember any of it. the bible was written by man, not god.

2. there is no scientfic evidence because the world WSNT created in 7 days.

3. well science doesent serve christians. chritians are attempting to use science to advance their beleif. theyre trying to make itmor valid by looking for evidence that supports their claims, what they NEED to do is put their religion to the test using the scientific method instead of simply looking for things that can be warped into evidence.

4. mary became pregnant through a biological process. there is no such thing as a "divine pregnancy". in order to have a chid you need the genetics from both a male and a female or else you get a pudle of biomass.

5. noak's ark is a childs story. there are many stories like it. logic doesent apply to many things from the christian faith

6. because there was no worldwide flood

9. because there is...

10. because buddhists choose to/. the search for inner peace is a good idea.

11. because they didnt know about the universe. they beleived the sun revolved around the world.

12. no one.

13. assuming both the earth and the uniiverse were created? yes.

14. its not. the bible has many contradictions. MANY

15. yes.

16. whoever was in power at the time

17. because its tradition.

18. because buddhists choose to.

19. buddhism isnt wrong, christianity isnt right. if i had to choose id choose buddhism over christianity. christianity makes absurd claims, buddhism simply sits there and ponders. christianity is full of crap, buddhism is full of those seeking inner peace.

buddhism remains the only religion i will ever reccomend. or tolerate.

christians will always go to war with others. its what they do. thats why im glad to be an atheist.

It's a bit difficult to believe that you are asking faith-based questions in a faith-based forum, but you don't want any faith-based answers. You've asked waaaayyy too many questions to answer at once, but hey, I'm game. I'll give it a shot.

Q. Why doesn’t the bible talk more about pre-human history?
A. Because the Bible isn't concerned about pre-human history, it is concerned about bringing human beings to salvation.
Q. How come there is no scientific evidence for the world being created in 7 days.
A. Because the Bible is not a technical manual nor is it a science text book. The world was created in God's time, and we don't know how long that was.
Q. Why do Christians discriminate against science only when it serves them to?
A. Because some people are idiots.
Q. How did Mary become pregnant?
A. By the power of the same God Who created stars, planets, etc...did you really think He couldn't do something so simple as to create a baby in the womb of a virgin?
Q. How did Noah get too many animals from all over the world to fit in a space to small for the 1/2 of the species in California alone?
A. He didn't. He took along freeze dried embryos. (There actually are people who believe there was a very advanced civilization before the flood...and I have wondered if it might not be possible. Hey, can you prove otherwise?)
Q. Why is there no fossil record of a worldwide flood?
A. Because we haven't found it yet...perhaps the flood actually happened a heck of alot longer ago than we suppose??
Q. Why is there a fossil record?
A. Why is it not complete? (I know, I know, I'm answering a question with a question, but so far, nobody has answered this one, either.)
Q. Why do Buddhists believe in Buddhism?
A. For that one, you'd have to ask a Buddhist.
Q. Why doesn’t the bible talk about the creation of the universe?
A. Because it's none of our business. Please refer back to the answer to your second question.
Q. Who created the universe?
A. God.
Q. Wouldn't you think that an accomplishment as great as creating the universe would be noteworthy in comparison to the creation of the earth?
A. ABSOLUTELY!! Don't you?
Q. If man wrote the bible, how can it be infallible?
A. The Bible is meant to be a guidebook to bring us to Christ. It is NOT a science text. Once again, refer back to your second question.
Q. Is a man inspired by "God" still a man?
A. Yes.
Q. Who was the judge of the accuracy of the writings of the bible at the times that it was written?
A. God.
Q. Why do we go to church when the bible explicitly says that no man or organization can be a representation of God?
A. In order to learn and grow with others of our own faith.
Q. Why do Buddhist believe in Buddhism?
A. Didn't you ask this one already?
Q. What makes Buddhism wrong, and Christianity right?
A. God.
Q. Does "God" give Christians the right to go to war with those who believe otherwise?
A. No.

OK, I've done the best I can to try to answer all of the questions you asked. I hope this helps you, at least a bit.
Just a bit of advice...try not to take yourself so seriously. Smile.
God bless you.

I believe that people have given you answers and you simply refuse to listen to them, or are not getting the answers that you yourself have already formulated.

But here goes, in the shortest way possible:

Why doesn’t the bible talk more about pre-human history? Because it isn't important.

How come there is no scientific evidence for the world being created in 7 days. Because they haven't figured out how God did it yet.

Why do Christians discriminate against science only when it serves them to? We do not.

How did Mary become pregnant? Ever hear of invitro fertilization?

How did Noah get too many animals from all over the world to fit in a space to small for the 1/2 of the species in California alone? He didn't, read the story again, he didn't put ALL the animals in the world, just the ones considered clean and unclean for spiritual and daily use.

Why is there no fossil record of a worldwide flood? There is evidence of it ... why do you think you can find seashells on a mountaintop?

Why is there a fossil record? Because fossil's exist.

Why do Buddhists believe in Buddhism? I don't know, why are you asking a Christian what a Buddhist believes?

Why doesn’t the bible talk about the creation of the universe? It does, go back and read Genesis 1.

Who created the universe? God did, again, read Genesis 1

Wouldn't you think that an accomplishment as great as creating the universe would be noteworthy in comparison to the creation of the earth? - sure, to us in this day it would, but back then they didn't even get the whole earth revolving around the sun thing, why would they get all excited over the universe?

If man wrote the bible, how can it be infallible? Because it was inspired by God ... these are God's Words to us.

Is a man inspired by "God" still a man? Yes

Who was the judge of the accuracy of the writings of the bible at the times that it was written? Depends on the bible you are reading, each has it's own history.

Why do we go to church when the bible explicitly says that no man or organization can be a representation of God? Where did you read that? Besides, no one CAN be a representation of God, because no one can be perfect.

Why do Buddhist believe in Buddhism? I don't know, ask a Buddhist.

What makes Buddhism wrong, and Christianity right? It's not wrong for Buddhists.

Does "God" give Christians the right to go to war with those who believe otherwise? I'm willing to defend the right to live out my faith with others to the death, are you? And no, God does not give us the "right" to go to war, but we do get the privilege of defending him.

Now you have correct answers, go with God.

Why doesn’t the bible talk more about pre-human history? Because there was no pre-human Earth
How come there is no scientific evidence for the world being created in 7 days? How could there be?
Why do Christians discriminate against science only when it serves them to? Because most science is tainted with what the scientists want you to believe.
How did Mary become pregnant? It was a miracle.
How did Noah get too many animals from all over the world to fit in a space to small for the 1/2 of the species in California alone? It has been calculated that the space was large enough for the species of the time.
Why is there no fossil record of a worldwide flood? There is, read about it dumdum.
Why is there a fossil record? For evolutionists to provide so-called 'evidence' of their stupid religion.
Why do Buddhists believe in Buddhism? Because they don't have easy access to Bibles to find the truth for themselves.
Why doesn’t the bible talk about the creation of the universe? The Bible relates to Earthly matters.
Who created the universe? God
Wouldn't you think that an accomplishment as great as creating the universe would be noteworthy in comparison to the creation of the earth? Yes
If man wrote the bible, how can it be infallible? God wrote it.
Is a man inspired by "God" still a man? Yes, but it was God writing the words through them.
Who was the judge of the accuracy of the writings of the bible at the times that it was written? God
Why do we go to church when the bible explicitly says that no man or organization can be a representation of God? Good question, we generally go to good churches to come together to celebrate God.
Why do Buddhist believe in Buddhism? Why do people ask the same questions twice?
What makes Buddhism wrong, and Christianity right? Buddhism is wrong because it is not Christianity.
Does God give Christians the right to go to war with those who believe otherwise? No, he says we should try and convert as many as possible to join us in Heaven.

Why doesn't the bible talk much about pre-human history?
How much do you really think happened in those four days. Its written in the beginning of Genesis.

How come there is no scientific evidence for the world being created in 7 days? There is no scientific evidence of how long it took for the earth to be created period. We can either believe the eye-witness testamony of God, or guesses based on theories based on assumptions.

Why do Christians discriminate against science only when it serves them to? We do not discriminate against science, we discriminate against bad science. If something truely is scientific we have no problem beliving it, but if it is just a bunch of guess work, we have no reason to believe it.

How did Mary become pregnant?
A miracle. God is all powerful and created man, do you really think this would be a difficult task for him?

How did Noah get too many animals from all over the world to fit in a space to small for the 1/2 of the species in California alone? He didn't need every species, only every genus. Speciation created the various species of each genus later. He needed at most 8000 types of animals on the ark. This may seem like alot, but it was a big boat, three stories each larger than two football fields. He had more than enough room.

Why is there no fossil record of a worldwide flood?
How do you have soo many bones fossilized still standing if they were not buried in a catastrophic event? Many dinosaur fossils still have some of the original soft tissue inside them, which is impossible if they are as old as evolutionary theory claims they are.

Why is there a fossil record?
Things died. Many of the fossils ar actually things that dies in the flood.

Why do Buddhists believe in Buddhism?
I don't know, they should be believing in Jesus.

Why doesn’t the bible talk about the creation of the universe?
It does. Its right on the first page.

Who created the universe? "In the beginning God created"

Wouldn't you think that an accomplishment as great as creating the universe would be noteworthy in comparison to the creation of the earth?
Not creating the earth would have had a much bigger impact on me than if he hadn't created the rest of the universe.

If man wrote the bible, how can it be infallible? The Bible is the inspired word of God. Besides, at least a portion of it was written by Gods own hand. "When the LORD finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the Testimony, the tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God."(Exodus 31:18)

Is a man inspired by "God" still a man?
Yes.

Who was the judge of the accuracy of the writings of the bible at the times that it was written?
God himself. And for the gospels, the thousands of people who witnessed the events.

Why do we go to church when the bible explicitly says that no man or organization can be a representation of God?
Chapter and verse, please so I can see what it really says in context. I think something is being lost in the way you state the question.

Why do Buddhist believe in Buddhism?
Why did you repeat this question?

What makes Buddhism wrong, and Christianity right?
The fact that christianity is right. I could just as well ask you why 1"1=2 is right and 1+1=1 is wrong. There is no reason, one is the truth, and one isn't.

Does "God" give Christians the right to go to war with those who believe otherwise?
No, but we are still allowed to go to war for our country etc, as any patriot should.

Evolution doesn't supply consistent proof of a pre-human history either.
There is evidence that the world could not have been created through nothing as evolution has it.
Mary became pregnant by artificial insimination of the seed of God. if humans can do it why not God who created humans.
Noah built an ark that carried all the animals in it, how big were the animals he carried is another question - they could be baby ones.
There is fossil record of a flood look at the fossils they said they found together in groups - they attribute it to a meteor but we know better.
There is a fossil record because the earth is not as old as scientiest say it is or else you wouldn't have fossils.
The Bible said that God created the heavens (stars and galaxies) and the earth - Genesis 1.
Yes.
Because they were getting the dictation from a perfect source - God.
Yes, a God-man.
No one because it was already perfect.
Hebrews 10:25 says we must gather with the brethren I guess in a building would be better or suitable - we are the church not the building.
Because they were misled.
No we should war those who do not believe we should spread the Gospel - Matthew 28:Last verse.

Have a good one...

1. The Bible does talk about pre-human history, but only to the extent of that which affects humans. What do we need with any other?

2. There is scientific evidence for the world being created in 7 days. Go here and read "Mystery In The Rocks". https://odessa.netadventist.org/local/showdocs/66302aa4719baaf571ade3e05b7424f2.pdf

3. I don't know any Christians who discriminate against science. All of the Christians I know LIKE science. It's my kids' favorite subject in school.

4. God's Holy Spirit did not have sexual relations with her, if that is where you are going with that question.

5. Noah was only required to take one pair of each species, (and seven of some), not one of each sub-species. And if he took babies or young animals, why, even the dinosaurs would have fit! This has been scientifically proven.

6. There is a fossil record of a worldwide flood! See http://christiananswers.net//creation/home.html.

7. There is a fossil record because after sin entered the world, things started dying.

8. Many Buddhists believe in Buddhism because it is the only light that they have been given.

9. The Bible doesn't talk about the creation of the universe because it is something that God figured we could find out later, like after we get to heaven. I have a lot of questions to ask Him, and I know that He will be happy to answer them.

10. God created ALL things - even the universe.

11. The Bible is about the plan of salvation. The creation of the earth fits into that story. The creation of the universe doesn't.

12. Because the men who wrote the Bible were guided by the Holy Spirit.

13. Yes, a man inspired by God is still a man. But he is a man that is a whole lot less likely to make mistakes. I know of some mistakes in the Bible - like in one verse where the comma was moved to make the verse mean something completely different - but when compared with the rest of the Bible you will find that, after all, the Bible does not contradict itself.

14. God would have been the judge of the accuracy of the writings of the Bible at the time it was written since all Scripture came from inspiration of God.

15. You are right! The Bible does say that no man or organization can be a representation of God - just like the Pope. BUT - the Bible also says that we should meet together and fellowship together, uplift each other, and study together, worship together, etc.

16. Already answered.

17. God doesn't give Christians the right to go to war with anyone! God says this:

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

However, there were many battles that God fought alongside His people in the Bible. There are many battles that God ensured the victory of His people.

His plan for us today is for us to spend time reading the Bible and in prayer with Him so that we can come to know Him - for to know Him is to love Him. He has worked miracles in my life. I don't know what I did before I met God. He filled a great longing in my life. The Bible is full of great prophecies that were written thousands of years ago that are coming true today! This proves to me that the Bible is true! This, combined with the miracles that He has worked in my life, led me to grow in my relationship with Him. He is totally awesome. And He is passionately in love with you. Give Him a chance and you'll see.

1. The bible doesn't talk about pre-human history much, because the bible was written by humans, and that's a fact. But even after humans existed, I'm sure they had little scientific methods to realize that they'd evolved from chimps, so the notion didn't even exist at the time. God inspired people to write the bible, but since the seven days of creation was really only an allegorical story (though that was considered a belief at the time, as much as "the world is flat"), the humans who wrote these thing obviously couldn't have known everything.

2. I don't believe that the world was created in seven days -- I'm with the theory of evolution on that one. That's probably why there's no scientific evidence. =)

3. I don't discriminate against science -- I'm actually with it all -- but for the Christians who do, it's because it contradicts their biblically obtained beliefs, obviously. It discredits their holy book. (I am Christian and I do of course read the bible, but I interpret it as both figuratively *and* literally, though only in some instances is the bible outright fact.)

4. Mary became pregnant by God's divine power. I'm sorry, I can't discount faith in that one -- it's said in the bible that she was given the gift of child by the Holy Spirit -- I think it just means that a baby began to be conceived inside of her without the usual... methods. ;)

5. Heh, read some of this article: http://www.nationalgeographic.com/blacksea/ax/frame.html. It basically gets to the fact that while Noah may have existed, along with a boat, it wasn't a worldwide flood for sure, and I'm assuming that he hardly decided to bring any animals with him. I think its a story born out of an actual catastrophic event in a particular region (massive flood in Asia Minor) -- it just got twisted into the Noah story in Judaism.

6. No record of a worldwide flood makes sense because it didn't happen. See the above link.

7. Why is there a fossil record of what? I don't understand.

8. Why do Buddhists believe in Buddhism? Because from my perspective, every religion believes in the same God, ultimately. They just give Him different names and different forms. So Buddhism is a way to communicate with the inner self through intense meditation -- my religion teaches that this is the soul that they tap into, and this tapping into the soul results in tapping into God, again from my perspective.

9. The bible doesn't talk about the creation of the universe because the people at the time had no notion of an outer world (other than the few stars they could see, the Sun, and the moon), so it was never mentioned. Same reason as #1. The creation story was allegorical -- the truth that I've been taught to pull out of that story is that God created everything out of nothing. If that began with the Big Bang, well, all right then.

10. I can't answer this question without getting into my faith, sorry. God created everything, and I see what you're getting at (for those who take the bible literally), but since I interpret the bible figuratively in some instances, I can still apply God's creation to the universe instead of just stars, the Sun, and the moon as is written.

11. Yes, of course the creation of the universe is noteworthy! But that wasn't all discovered until a few millenia later. So, the biblical writers had no idea about it -- refer to #1.

12. You're right, the bible isn't infallible. That's all there is to it.

13. The men themselves weren't inspired by God, it was the words that they wrote on the pages, the concepts in these men's minds that were inspired. So the men are still men, and not infallible. That's why the bible has so many contradictions in it, and can't be taken literally without stumbling over everything.

14. No one judged the accuracy -- it's not completely accurate like a history book -- already answered this.

15. We go to church not because we want to represent God, but because we're supposed to worship Him as a community and feel closer to our fellow worshippers. We're supposed to know God not just personally, but through others as well. That's how we learn to love others, etc. We can't just keep God to ourselves.

16. Both are right, but neither completely. No Christian has the right to fight another religion because it is "wrong," unless there is truly injustice going on, like people being tortured or other crimes that even the secular world would recognize as wrong. Christians should not take up arms just because they think they're more right than another one.

#1 If one believes there were humans prior to Adam, that would be because it is a History of Israel - The chosen people of God. Personally, I take it as History of the beginning of time, the world, etc. period.

#2 Time did not begin until the 4th day, it says in many different places in the Bible that Gods time differs from ours, so before the 4th day, when earthly time was established, 1 day could have equalled 1000 years.

#3 Every individual is different, personally, I don't think that I do that. There are parts of the theory of evolution that I believe, parts that I don't. Incidnetly, there is room for me to say that because if you are referring to Darwin's theory, it is only that, a Theory. It is not proven fact.

#4 This was a miracle by God, no other way to explain it.

#5 Consider that he may have had eggs of animals to be born or baby creatures.

#6 Try this address - to much to type or paste http://www.layevangelism.com/advtxbk/sections/sect-10/sec10-5.htm

#7 Fossil record - well, I believe dinosaurs did exist. See Job chapter 40 in the Bible, I think God thought so to.

#8 Not Buddhist - don't know

#9 It does, Chapter 1 in Genesis

#10 - Intelligent Design = God Read "A case for the Creator" by Lee Strobel. Lots of scientific evidence.

#11 Already addressed that, it is in the Bible - Genesis 1

#12 It was inspired by God to chosen men. You simply will never understand that unless you are a follower of Christ. Your eyes are shut and ears do not hear.

#13 Dumb question, makes no sense.

#14 The people of the time. Don't you think there would have been some sort of uprising if it were inaccurate?

#15 For fellowship and encouragement of fellow Christians. The building "CHURCH" is not the "CHURCH" in the Bible. The CHURCH is the body of followers of Christ - each person makes of the Church.

#15 Duh, already asked that ya know

#16 - Christianity means followers of Christ or Christ like - striving to be like Christ. God gives his people the right to defend themselves and his Word. We don't go to war because others believe otherwise, nor does God encourage that. That is why he gave us FREE WILL, to make those choices. In the end, when Jesus comes back, yes, there will be a great war as Jesus rids the world of evil.

I'll try to answer....

"Why doesn’t the bible talk more about pre-human history?": I don't know what of pre-human history would help a Christian to know how s/he should relate to God and mankind. There are immeasurable amounts of information that are not included in the bible.

"How come there is no scientific evidence for the world being created in 7 days?": Even in human terms, a lack of evidence does not prove that something did not happen. Further, if you can accept that God exists and that God created everything that surrounds mankind, you should be able to accept that God could create it all at such a pace.

"Why do Christians discriminate against science only when it serves them to?" I think an example would help your question - as I'm not sure what you're asking. When science agrees with the bible, I suspect you're seeing that Christians are agreeing with the bible, in point of which science happens to support. When science disagrees with the bible, I suspect you're seeing that Christians are still agreeing with the bible, in point of which science disagrees. My point is: maybe it isn't discrimination against science that you see, but trust in the bible.

"How did Mary become pregnant?": If you can understand that God created the components to create life within man and woman, you should understand that God can create life within woman without man. If you wrote the music and wrote the lyrics to a song, I would expect you to be able to perform the song without either the written music or the lyrics.

"Why is there no fossil record of a worldwide flood?" and "Why is there a fossil record?": I'm not sure how can you ask why there is no fossil record followed by a question for why there is a fossil record. I've heard many accounts where fossils indicate that a worldwide flood occurred. I suggest you visit the webpage I included in the Sources section and research this more for yourself.

"Why do Buddhists believe in Buddhism?": This is the same as asking why some people worship money and why some people worship themselves (or any other thing but God). Man is creative and can create his own gods to worship. The bible teaches of one God.

"Why doesn’t the bible talk about the creation of the universe?": I think this is the same as your first question, but I suggest that you read the first 8 verses and 14-18 of the first chapter of Genesis carefully. The universe is explained here, but it sounds like you're leading back to your first question. Imagine an earth surrounded by nothing (space, as I can fathom), then formed as we know it, then provided with stars - by this point I think you have what you might consider a universe - creation continues to create creatures and mankind.

"If man wrote the bible, how can it be infallible?": The men who wrote the bible were inspired by God. The bible is infallible because, literally, it is the breath of God, written by man for man. If the bible was not written by man, I suppose you would ask (like for Mary's pregnancy) where it came from. You can always have questions but at some point you must have faith in the truth.

"Is a man inspired by "God" still a man?": Unless I hear God say otherwise, yes, I think so.

"Who was the judge of the accuracy of the writings of the bible at the times that it was written?" You're kidding, right? God was the author and you ask for a judge? Is there someone you had in mind that would have given you greater assurance of its truth? Yes, that's a rhetorical question.

"Why do we go to church when the bible explicitly says that no man or organization can be a representation of God?" Paul repeatedly writes letters (most of the Books of the New Testament) to the various churches in many lands and I don't recall a single request to disband the church (this isn't proof, I know - but a supporting fact). In fact, the bible provides several guidelines for churches (e.g. 1 Corinthians 14:26). You didn't quote the verse to which you were referring, but I suggest that you consider that you're seeing instruction to not worship the church as a god. The church is the embodiment of the kingdom of God, it is not to represent God. I relate it to the water in a bucket representing the capacity of the bucket, the water not being the bucket itself.

"What makes Buddhism wrong, and Christianity right?": Picture yourself in a dark tunnel. One direction leads to an inescapable trap door, in which you would suffer forever. The other direction leads to a door, through which is eternal peace. If it takes a lifetime to reach either end, how would you know which way to go? There are many stories which could be created to give us confidence that we're walking in the "right" direction, but only by knowing and believing in Jesus Christ can you choose the correct way.

"Does God give Christians the right to go to war with those who believe otherwise?": I don't know what that would accomplish. Would the opponent then believe in God? There is more, I think, to be accomplished in the Christian showing love for his enemies than in the gore of war.
