It simply means that Jesus is the same as he always been, is now and will be in the future.

Think of it as a rapper (or anyone that gets famous) At one point of time they might have been a really nice & quiet person. They got famous and they become a really mean, harsh and egotistical person. Their career ends and they become depressed and their life is over.
Jesus isn't that way. Nothing changes no matter what.

The second verse means the same thing. I change not. No matter what you have done, are doing or will do in the future, I will not change. Unconditional. No matter what you do he's still the same loving God that he was yesterday.

People change because of circumstances. That's man, not God. One day you're in the "in crowd" one day you're not. God's not like that. You are always down with his team; You don't know it some times.

Danielle - in reference to your answer - Example: women who aren't modest, virginal, unadorned and who don't shut up in church are breaking God's law - I don't know where you got your information, but women being modest, unadorned, and talkative in church (virginal isn't even mentioned) was a policy that Paul suggested for the church of that day. Not today. Just like women in the Middle East cover their faces. Do we? No. That was not God's Law. If you want God's law - check out the Ten Commandments. They were written in stone by God's own finger. They are God's law.
