Well, so far it sounds like both.

And whose truth are you realizing? Isn't that open to interpretation? Then that can't be truth, if there is a million definitions for it!!!!!!!!

I would say both and possibly add pride and arrogance that keeps them from admitting they're wrong. I agree with you about how funny it is to see how angry they get,If they were such highly evolved ,open minded free thinkers why DO they get soooo angry if they're questioned? they kind of defeat they're own argument

How about an acceptance of the Truth?

No, Truth does not depend on the observer. That's what makes it truth rather than opinion or taste.

Your question had assumptions which are simply false. Atheists are aware of what theists believe. Usually, they have investigated for themselves and found the theistic beliefs to be False. So they are neither Rejecting nor Ignorant of the Truth.

It is rejection of mythology.
I know how desperate you christians are to try and convince people that your myths and fables are "true" but please, face reality. There is nothing about your mythos that is real. None of it has any more bearing on the real world than the average pixie or leprechaun.

Oh and by the way: "Isn't it funny how angry Atheists get when you question their belief which they can't answer?"
is not a sentence. Please get some remedial English lessons. I'm betting that the average grade 5 student could form a more coherent sentence than you can.
If you want to insult someone, at least have the intelligence to do so. Understood?

Atheism is a byproduct of understanding religion.

One can't understand religion and not become an atheist, because the facts are all there disproving it. You, obviously, haven't studied much about the subject. I know this will be hard for you to understand, but theists are the ones who "reject". It is a part of faith, you see... It is all that faith truly is... the rejection of the obvious, and an unwavering belief in something, regardless of how difficult it may be to believe.

I hope that makes a dent. Good luck.

IMHO-it's a by product from the teachings of religion...in the beginning one must have been force fed/grown into some sort of religon and it's beliefs...then ideas stemmed...and one can imagine that doubts and questions on faith came about...

There is no physical proof/real evidence that there is or isn't a supernatural being/god that made all/controls all...there are only beliefs-that is all!!!

all we have here are a bunch of followers from both sides that just want to argue like a bunch of F*****G babies...instead of uniting as one to take care of societies problems!!!

Well, it would depend on your definition of TRUTH.

If TRUTH means beleif in impossible BS stories written about a mortal man 70 - 300 years after he was alive, then having his holiness/virgin birth/son of God status VOTED upon at the Council of Nicea later still, then I would have to say that it is a Rejection of Truth.

Cuz we all know the crap you actually believe, we just prefer to reject it as lies.

Meeeoooow! LOL Hey Kitten, how can someone read a 2000 year old text and "Believe" every word in it ,when even the people who wrote it didn't agree? The Bible is so full of contradictions it's not funny.
Why would a book written by God to enlighten people need "Experts" to explain it to them? If I was God, I would have written it so that, no matter who you were, the words would instantly make sense to them. So "my word" would not need anyone to interpreter it.

It's about knowing the truth of ignorance. And embracing the truth of rejection. You should try it some time.

Realization of truth.

Truth is truth. A thing is what it is. It doesn't depend on anybody's interpretation. A is A when I look at it, and A is still A when you look at it.

From an atheist's viewpoint, they've accepted the truth (that there is no God / gods), and you've rejected it.

I'm a Pascalian Christian, by the way.
Atheists, please have a look at the wikipedia article on "Pascal's Wager." Pascal wasn't a holy man or prophet. He was a mathematician.
