I'll acknowledge that on this site I've seen a few intelligent Atheists who have an open mind and don't judge others and who argue their point from a reasonable perspective.

For example, not all Christians (like myself) are Bible thumping, close minded freaks. Some of us are different.

Most Atheists on here, however, seem to say something like "god is dumb u suck!" or the classic "did god rape mary?" and "all Christians are judgmental b*tches!!!" and all the other stupid comments that are supposed to hurt my feelings but just sound...silly. Are there just ignorant kids out there who just think it's "cool" to be an Atheist?

When I was in higschool, worshipping the devil and all the goth crap was a fad...so has this replaced it kiddies? What will it be replaced with? Buddhism maybe? Fill an older guy in.

Is it because it is now scientifically easy to investigate so-called miracles and show that they are frauds/hoaxes like virgin conceptions, walking on water, raising the dead, etc?

I believe that it's because Catholicism is completely misunderstood. Why don't people take the time to learn about the things that they don't understand? Ignorance just creates more hate.

I have asked the missionaries who came by a few times awhile back, but they didn't know. Neither did anyone really give me a straight answer no lds-chat. What I want to know is according to your beliefs where are christians going after death? From what I could gather, believers in God, outside of Mormonism, will not go into "outer darkness," but like I said....no one has answered it for me yet. Pleeeaaase someone help!

i felt baddly on the street, i dont know, the sensation was a mix of different feelings, i was really unfocussed and lost, scared, there were busses all around i wasnt thinking about the people looking at me, in one second i was felt like i was in the center of the universe with nobody around me, then i saw a man comming, i knew he was going to handle me his hand to get up from the floor, i said thanks but with a a big wellingness of getting lost or dissapearing, he saw i was really confused like with no way to turn, my mind was a complete mess, i didnt now i was going to fall and worst in a bad way, the first thing i did was lay my head than because i was confused and take the first bus that came across. The weird thing of all this is that i when i was in the bus i said to my self, wow i guess i needed it for some reason, or God didnt fall in years! i guess i dont even remember the last time i felt so it was kind of shoking for me and surprising i wasnt expecting that, at least not me

We know life has evolved on at least one planet, but do you really think life is unique to Earth..whether you believe in evolution or creationism I'd like to hear your views..and why if you are a creationist did God make so many planets?

God is not unjust because he is gracious to some and not others. Everyone deserves justice, which is eternal seperation, judgement and punishment from God because all are sinful both from birth and from deeds. No one deserves God's grace. God owes mercy to no one. Some get grace, some get justice but no one gets injustice.

The Catholic Encyclopedia (as well as other Catholic publications) state that the Catholic Church changed the day of worship from the seventh day to the first day. The heirarchy is quite proud of this fact, even if their parishiners sometimes deny it.

"The Church, on the other hand, after changing the day of rest from the Jewish Sabbath, or seventh day of the week, to the first, made the Third Commandment refer to Sunday as the day to be kept holy as the Lord's Day." Catholic Encyclopedia (Article: Ten Commandments, second paragraph)

There is absolutely no Biblical proof of a change.

My question is, why do non-Catholics worship God on Sunday even though they know this?

So many athletes publicly pray that Jesus helps them beat the other team, and then give him the credit when they win. Of course someone was praying the same thing on the other team and they still lost. So does Jesus really play football?

When he sees the answers his "followers" give. Even with a question about flower arranging and some bible basher will still give a "holy" reply - mostly copied & pasted !

I have seen many instances where someone asked a question about someones beliefs and then still refused to accept that that is what they belief. I do not understand this. I accept that what a person says they belive is what they believe. I wonder if anyone really wants to know or if they just want to run people down for their faith or lack or it.

I don't give them to strangers personally,or do I stand on the corner and give them out.
But when I'm talking to friends and family about God I'll give them a little Gospel, or a tract if they are interested. I found a site that gives you Gospel of John tracts.
