True.

and jewish (before the coming of Jesus) cannot go to heaven unless they go thru Moses.

and christians (before the coming of Muhamamd) cannot go to heaven unless they go thru Jesus.

and Muslims cannot go to heaven unless they go thru Muhammad and all the prophets sent before Him.

agree?

There are 16 books of the Bible hidden in this passage. Highlight the books.

'I once made a remark of the hidden books of the Bible merely by a fluke it kept people looking so hard for the facts and for the others is was a revelation, some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not capitalized. But the truth finally stuck home to the numbers of readers. To others it was a real job. We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes there will be some real difficult ones to spot. Others may require judges them. I will quickly admit it usually takes a minister to find one of them. There will be load, lamentations when it is found. A little lady says she brews a cup of tea so she can concentrate better. See how well you can compete. Relax now for there are really sixteen names of the Bible hidden in this paragraph. One preacher found fifteen books in 20 minutes, but it took him three weeks to find the sixteenth one.' Don't give up!'

I don't just mean any old atheist because you've got those mad-at-god atheists and those never-thought-about-it atheists who make us all look bad.

I've been reading the new testement recently and I've come accross some interesting verses.

Matthew 16:28, 24:34
Mark 9:1, 13:30
Luke 9:27, 21:32

In these passages Jesus seems to be saying quite clearly that the kingdom of God will arrive within the lifetime of those present (the disciples).

Why are we then 2000 years later still waiting?

Why don't theists believe? They are real. You can't prove they don't exist, so obviously they do. Also there are books that talk about them, so they must be real. The writers were obviously inspired by leprechauns also proving their existence. Whenever you get to the end of the rainbow you will be sorry when you don't get any gold, because you didn't believe.

Why would some turn to tarot cards, psychics, crystal balls, palm readings, and such and not turn to the Lord God Almighty?

I was just wondering how other people thought on something I've been thinking of a while.

Anyway, I've been thinking a lot about religions, and the basic concept. Do they really serve a point, what exactly is the point, ect. I actually do want to take a look at more religions before I come up with a theory though...But doesn't it seem that Religion could be a mask for the truth...Meaning I'm sure everyone here has heard the saying "Because God wanted to" in trying to solve something, they don't understand, but yet the people that seem to state these types of things, never really go out of their way to try and prove that some divine power really made it that way, and why not? Wouldn't that prove to all of us (every human being on earth) that we should believe?

As an example of what I stated above...what was the sun in ancient Egyptian times (Ra?), what was lightening in the Ancient Greek times (Zeus?), and well you get the point right?

seriously thanks God for sending Islam. it's truly a light from God. when i look at the Quran i truly see the truth. this is my God, Allah and nothing else.

i am sorry, but really it seems many christians deny God with their own words but they don't know.

How can scientoligy be called a religion? It was invented just recently by an author of fiction! It's like Stephen King suddenly decided to make a new religion and people actually follow! Religions are based on faith, and the belief in a higher being. At best, scientoligy should be called a "way of life". I heard there are so many rules even regarding the food babies should eat (they feed them honey, which can cause botulism in infants!) and what is the crap about not speaking to your baby for 2 weeks after birth? After hearing the mothers voice while in womb, won't the baby freak out if it can't be comforted by it's own mother? It's not like the baby can "recognize" the mom by her face! Why do people adhere to a "religion" that has no basis on faith OR fact?

I saw a National Geographic today of of Amazon tribesmen. They (the men, women children) walk around nude. Why do you think they do not have a nature to be embarrassed from being nude as most in the western world do? Do they cohabit in public as well?

2006-07-11 07:29:39 · 8 answers · asked by Anonymous

I believe we misunderstand Godbecause we don't know His nature.
If you know and trust a friend you would know when they were misrepresented. You would know what they would do or not do in a given situation.
If we are to understand God, we need to know His character and His nature.
