The tarot is a meditation aid for clarifying where you are. It does not see into the future. The future is much too complex an issue. It is a mandala, if you will, of your present state of affairs. It can help you, if you are of that mindset, to look deeper into your own motives.

However, if all of your life is run by the cherrypicking of the Old Testament, then by all means stay away from the tarot.

Tarot dates only back to about the 1300s. Most decks were commissioned by very Christian rulers. Call them Satanic at your own choosing, I suppose.

Tarot is not Satanic.
In fact, there are Tarot cards based on Christian on Kabbalistic symbolism. For it to be Satanic, it would have to promote the beliefs of Satanism and be pro-devil.

Still, you are right that the bible instructs us not to try and see into the future. That makes consulting Tarot cards wrong, but not Satanic.

For example, the Christian bible also instructs you to turn the other cheek. That does not mean that taking revenge (the opposite of turning the other cheek) is Satanic -- just wrong.

An action can be a sin, without being Satanic.

Tarot is placed under the "ENTERTAINMENT" section of the phone book. That's all it is. Tarot is a false way that the evil spirits deceive man to make us feel like we have control over the future and not God. Most of the time they give an answer that is too general.....like you will find true love....well anybody can have a crush on someone and just b/c they said you'll find a love, you are deceived that this crush is your love, b/c of the cards and the reading that was in planted in your head by this human. So yes to your answer. It is teachings of the demon spirits.

We have been given prophets, we are given dreams and visions from God. By using tarot cards we are not seeking out God for our needs, but enticing evil spirits for knowledge of future events, and yes, some of these things can come to pass for the enemy knows what he plans to do in our lives in the future. To call upon any thing other than God is rebellion against God and that is called Witchcraft.

It's a form of witchcraft which the Bibles talks about is being wrong. Only God can see into the future.

Oh my God!
You use the Tarot! You're going to die and go straight to Hell and burn for all eternity because I don't want you to see or understand anything pertaining to the world behind the physical reality you know. I hereby condem your soul to the eternal depths of perdition and fire to die a million times over yet never die, but live in agony and torture for all time and eternity and the rest of forever because you have dared to question my almight Holy Book of Fairy Tales.

I dont think it's Satanic nor do I believe it actually sees into the future. It's more of general answers anyways. You will find love, okay you cant go your whole life without finding love. You will die, yeah not everyone is immortal buddy.

Only if you believe it. Can cards really tell you the future without some force behind it?

consulting tarot cards is fortune telling (in the realm of witchcraft and that is of satan))and the bible doesn't want us doing that---
I don't expect non believers to uphold biblical teaching - it'd be contrary to their worldly nature....
