Well, while I am unaware of said 20,000 year old cosmic occurrence, I can give you a better reference for the Lucifer's Heavenly Battle story. The Book of Enoch, which is considered to be part of the Ethioptic Bible (not the Protestant, Catholic, or Orthodox Bibles), gives a much more detailed account of the battle and subsequent falling of Lucifer (though that name is not used in the book). The book, written sometime in the 1st or 2nd century B.C.E., is actually referenced quite a bit in the New Testament. It is an interesting book and I would recommend it if you are interested in the origin of the fallen angels story. (There is even a section where the fallen angels are having sex with women, who then give birth to giants.)
