My lovely lover and I fall in love. But her mother thinks that the guy who is not accustomed to them, and not recognized well by her family, should be some "untrustuble" guy. How can i convince and give a good expression of me? What can i do. Mothers!!! Please help me.

I just signed a lease in a nice chicago neighborhood renting an upstairs room in an old house -there are four units and i have one in the upper back. yea !!!

Problems-I moved in and it was filthy ! my friend was mad and said it is standard that landlords paint and wash the carpet. it was not. i called the landlord she said that it is not standard and is "as is" per the lease-it says so on the lease. my bad.

OK here is what i dont get. She said i am in charge of utilities. but on my lease it states that the landlord pays for heat, water, and electricity.

But she called me and reminded me to call the electric company to put it under my name.

I dont want to call her to bother her more becaue i am confused. And since the house is shared with other units do i have to pay a split fee what they are using? this is my first time and it is so confusing to me

If the question is do you like (baby name, type of food, red kites?) Do you assume the asker does also & answer as such? (ex. If you like that you suck!) Or if the question is what would you do in "this situation" do you assume asker is going thru something similar to what they ask of you?
