A so-called friend has put a link from his website, it sends you to another site which contain a couple of serious accusations, totally unfounded, about my son, what can I do?
Please, only serious replies, I need advice.

report him to someone. confront his parents. tell someone who has the power to punish him and more importantly get the site taken off the web as soon as possible. its not safe to have his info on the website, even if it isnt true. good luck.

First make a hard copy of the evidence by printing out the webpage. Then contact the site that has the alleged libelous content and demand the immediate removal of the offensive content.
Go see a lawyer to find out if the alleged libel is actionable. A word to the wise.... Unless you are a celebrity or the accusations are of a particularly nasty nature, you can't expect a huge payoff from this sort of thing. Keep your expenses in check. If you are so inclined a written retraction and apology posted in place of the offending material would probably be easy to get in exchange for not prosecuting.
