Well, I'm American ( and very proud of it, by the way ) but I'm feeling pretty paranoid right now. It feels like the whole world is turning against us. You don't hear all the good about our country in the media; only the bad. Basically, the heart of America is very good and we are a bunch of very nice people!!! Give us a break!

Nana and Pagan are both right.

That isn't the answer you are looking for is it though. You are looking for an answer much like one you gave less than an hour ago in another thread...

"yanky people might sit back and take a good long look at themselves and their value systems. I won't be holding my breath for a positive result though but I won't be surprised when I hear on the news something like....."yeah well, if the Amish had guns it would never have happened" and "god bless ameerriiccaa..."
enogh to make you puke (sorry) "

So... when exactly in this thread are you going to start bashing Americans? OR are you going to wait until someone else does the job for you and then comment rather ignorantly that what they say must be factual?

You don't know Americans and you don't want to know Americans. You want to pass sweeping judgements on a whole nationality of people because it somehow makes you feel superior.

Shame, shame, shame....

I think that most of the world does not like us but I think that they fall victim to the same media/tourist driven stereotypical crap that we all do sometimes. You cannot judge the majority by the actions of the minority.....

I dunno about everyone else here, but I know all other countries hate us...we've been acting really stupid for a long while.
