White people rarely have secondary relationships with other races and cultures. The dominant group could spend their lives not knowing another culture.

That statement is in my multicultural education book.

I was about the colour of my skin. The one statement i hated the other kids saying to me was 'rubber lips. I got over it as kids can be so cruel, and they say 'kids speak the truth'.
In a funny sort of way i have had the last laugh, because women and men are paying thousands of pounds to have botox in their lips (and havent we seen some disaster's especially amongst celebrities, and in their bums too(i hold my hands up i have a shapely one of those too. Lol.
Isn't life strange?

I visted one and I don't see what the hype is. Is it being around people like yourself with $$ ? The Activities ? Or is it an ego booster, seriously I need to know. I can not afford to belong to anything like this, just curious to hear what people who can and do get out of it.

I learned in community college that the european settlers gave blankets contaminated with measels or small pox to the natives in order to kill them, since they had no immunities to the diseases. I stated that in an answer the other day and someone told me that it was not true. Is it or not?

I never did see the sense in sitting in front of a tv watching a bunch of idiots chase a ball around that won't even roll properly. And the noise is enough to get on your last nerve! I went into a bar yesterday and though I might sit down and have a beer all to myself and there was a damn shitball game playing on the tv and I didn't even bother to pull up a stool. Just turned around and walked out. I really hate football with a passion! Surely I'm not the only person who thinks it's total crap!

wen my firends son died abroad. they were told by the local police. which is fair enough but whos job was it to make sure the family had all the information. we didnt know we could request a coroner etc no one told us can any1 give me info on this please
