Most of them, probably (though the ones I know wouldn't like to hear me say that - LOL).

For the most part it is usually the the constantly happy people you need to worry about. Most "gothics" just really like dark colors or think their look is really cool, others are simply wanting attention. The are generally good natured, happy people.

Well, they're just like anyone else! Some good, some bad!!! Many gothic people just want a niche to fit into, some are seeking attention. And there's nothing wrong with that.

All people are different and can't be put in a box as a group. That's a form of prejudice, like saying all blacks are one way or all christians are a certain way.
So there are good gothics, bad, etc.

Pretty much. They're just like everyone else - it's just that they choose to express themselves in a different way - one that draws attention to their way of life.
I know a few "goths", and they're all pretty nice people. They kind of have issues with confidence, and sometimes, they're a little more depressed than other people - but I think it all goes with the whole "melancholy (SP?)" thing. It's part of their "game".
Granted, the Columbine guys were sort of "gothic" - but I think that's the exception rather than the rule. Goths are just like you and me, they just express themselves to an extreme.

blah! We are not bad, violent or evil. We simply choose to express ourselves in a different way. Just because I like to wear dark colors and have a more shocking appearence means nothing but that I like it, does wearing pink mean you are a bubbly airhead, no, it simply means you like pink. I have never tried to harm anyone and I am pretty much a cheerful person, I have my episodes of depression but who doesnt. I dont do it for attention either, I do it because I like it and it is me. The general definition of Goth is to be dark without being evil. So dont be so close minded..dont say I am evil because I wear black and I wont call you a dork when you wear your polo shirts =)

Due to the fact that Gothic people are generally more exposed to ideas of evil and violence, they are more likely to attack. No one is harmless, in any event, except the quadropelegic. Also, generally, as one is friends with his or her own kind, those exposed to violence and death are more likely to applaud and encourage it. I would say they are more likely to be harmful than almost any other subculture.

The correct term is "goth" and yes MOST of them are completely harmless. some believe that they should be destructive but those people are just being stupid. my friends who were goth maintained High grades and joined clubs, they were some of the nicest people i knew in school.

I think in general they are harmless. I think often they do it to shock and annoy their parents or because they feel like they aren't getting any positive attention so they think that even if they are getting negative attention at least they are getting some.

Of course they are harmless. They are just a bunch of cry baby losers that don't shower. I hate those guys. That whole "Life is pain" attitude of theirs. The sad thing is, most of them don't know a damn thing about pain, as they are spoiled rich kids.

Listen we all go through stages. In my day it was being a hippy, in my dads day it was the zoot suit. WE all go though stages. Most of these people will look really straight in 10 years. Love is all we need!
