If there is a local police department you can trust, take it there. If not, contact the embassy of the country where it is from. You may be able to search the net for phone number, as some like anywho, and switchboard have a lot of telephone numbers.

Take it to the police. I had this happen to me actually. Well...my purse was stollen all money taken but my I.D. The police said someone had handed it in but left before a name had been taken. The money was gone, but I got my wallet back and my cards.

Turn it over to the law enforcement. What if If someone stole it after murdering someone, you will be stuck with the evidence. Ya never know.

turn it in to the cops, or call the credit card company and give the info you have on the card... dont give your number directly to anyone..you never know what the person is, or is into.. STAY ALIVE
