The last one was the peace-loving Amish - nutcase ties up three school girls and executes them against the blackboard - now four dead, because he wanted revenge for something that happened 20 years ago - does anyone know WHAT he was avenging exactly? Just a small point of logic I need answering if someone could please - those kids wern't alive 20 years ago - so was it something their parents had done? Clipped his 4x4 with one of their horse-driven carriages perhaps or did this posty get dismissed from his job or didn't he get enough pay rises or something?

I mean - they're perfectly good reasons for cold-blooded murder in this twisted world we live in now - aren't they? Oh! I know what it was - his XBOX or PLAYSTATION encouraged him - yes?

What's next - mass baby-murdering in their incubators in hospitals ?

I tell you people it won't be long now - I revise my original estimate of 10 to 20 years down to 5 or 10

WHAT DO YOU THINK ?

THE END CAN'T BE TOO LONG FROM NOW...

CAN IT ?

It seems most people only want to do whats right if its easy and won't cost too much time or energy. They want an end to terrorism but don't want to fight for it. They want safer neighborhoods but won't support law enforcement or stronger sentences for repeat offenders. It seems people would rather be popular then actually take a stand even if it is politicaly incorrect. Or am I the only one that thinks that?

I read of the woman in India who brought on her own death quicker by fasting. This purification of the body ritual has been in practice 1,000 years, and in her mind she was performing this ritual as she was dying of cancer of the brain and liver. She was following her belief, I doubt she was just thinking of suicide. There are arguments on right to life, the wrongness of suicide, euthanasia, however what about individuals who purposely harm their bodies e.g. smokers, over-eaters, who know darn well what they are doing to themselves? Are they not commiting suicide inevitably?

Whenever someone asks what the meaning of life is, loads of people say 42. Have I missed something? I appreciate they may be trying to be funny, but whats the significance of that number? Just wondering!!!!

Zoos are perversion, I can see an animal in a picture or a movie, don't need one locked up so I can see it on some infrequent zoo visit.

Seems like a stupid question maybe but Brazil seems so multicultural that it makes me wonder if there is racism on the ground of colour? I am aware there is a lot of social inequality though ...

I married outside my race 13yrs ago. My parents are from the Carribbean, i am black/british.My husband is white. To my amazement it still astounds me that people frown on 'mixed marriages' It was only a couple of weeks ago that i was conversing with a colleague, and when i told her my husband was white, her whole persona changed.
She then went on to say "you dont look the type"
What is the type i ask myself?
I said to my colleague, "you know what LOVE has no colour".
She then made her excuse's and walked away.
Will us human beings ever see pass the colour of another's skin?
Not in my life time i don't think. I would be interested to hear other people's views
