Do you think that in the future someday people will be able to travel and cross borders without any restrictions? Would that mean that there would no such thing as immigration and deportation since the world would be like one big giant country?

I know it's late, but i'm feeling down. It seems like the more I know the more sad I get. I guess i'm losing that innocence when i'm learning how the world thinks. It's not kind at all. Maybe it's my own fault for asking so much questions here. Some of the answers I get that are hateful really stick to me. There is so much hatefulness. I feel really effected by people's hateful opinions of myself and to other people.

Questions is why do I take the opinions of others to heart? I know i'm not suppose to live for the world.

I know I have my own faults too, and i'm sorry if I come out as ignorant minded and all. For that I am sorry. Is it healthier to take a break from questions?

I've seen a question weeks ago about Hitler & the halocaust, and the majority of the responses were positive.
People were writing about the crazy things they would do to him if he was in prison in the States.
Now I just posted something on purse grabbing, and your responses were like get over what happened to your ancestors. (real nasty ones too)
So how come I'm not allowed to remember how I got to a country that does not speak my native language?

Tell me if this statement is true or not and REALLY think about it and read the WHOLE thing before jumping to your answer

"Something is not true unless EVERY last person who knows about it thinks its true, if even ONE person thinks its not true
then its not"

That doesn't mean "everyone" thought the world was flat because EVERYONE didn't think the world was flat EVERYONE MEANS EVERY LAST PERSON!!!

Okay now heres the thing. if you say the statement is true then ok thats fine but when you disagree with it now its getting tricky because its hard to say the statement is false without saying its true, just hear me out

If you say the statement is untrue then you are ad least one person who doesn't agree with something and if you are saying its not true then that means you have just confirmed the statement! Because the statement says if even ONE person says something isn't true then its not, and you are one person who is saying its not true, but that means the statement is true

I've talking to this girl on Facebook I really like. She's a sophomore, I'm a junior.

Well we've only talked for two days, but when school starts back up on January 7, I want to try to meet her in person.

I plan to ask how her new years went first, then say something like "so i never see u at school...r u in a lot of smart classes or something?"

maybe i'll hint that "we should talk at school sometime" or something along those lines (that's more thought out).

But what would I say when I finally meet her face to face?

I know breaking the ice in person for the first time would be hard, but what would I say?

"Hey, I'm that guy from Facebook." NO!

Should I be like "Hey, I've finally seen you for the first time at school. What's up?"

If you have any ideas, please help me!

Thanks!

The last two years have been shitty for me for the most part. I went mental for four months about a year ago and had to spend an extra year in college as a result.

Three years ago around this time I was a junior in college and partying out in the woods, smoking pot and drinking liquor. Had tons of friends and was well-known throughout my campus.

Now I am barely known in the area I live in and in the midst of losing my job. Slowly things are coming back together (actually this time around the ladies like me more) but will they ever be like they were before or is it just time for me to adapt and realize that smoking pot and drinking is no longer in the cards?

Here in the UK it's a little after 5.30 am. I haven't been to bed yet as I got carried away fixing up a second p.c. Just now, I'm laid on my bed listening to the ambient music on BBC 2 as the text pages scroll round and round. The cosy glow from the night light suspended over my bed, casts off enough light to help me spot my dog Barney asleep in the corner of the room. It's cosy, in a lazy sort of way .. My tum is rumblin' I'm starvin' but haven't got the energy to drag myself downstairs to put somethin together, my legs are like lead .. guess that's the tiredness... but I lay here and think, another year has come to an end and in a few short hours people around the world will be hoping for better things in the New Year as they toast the old one out ... I can recall last New Years eve .. and it was nothing like this. The birds outside herald the start of the day .. .. So, ok .. what have you got lined up for tonight .. or will you be staying in the comfort of your cosy room?

I hope that a social change will begin where the young become more tolerant and educated for one another. I hope that the young start thinking about more important things like polotics instead of obsessing over MTV ect.

Seriously why do people think that just because they are online they don't need to use proper grammar or complete spelling? I'm not talking about the occasional mistake I'm talking about the ppl that must spk in leet at all times. They use plz instead of please. Because the two seconds they saved cutting out four letters and adding one that doesn't belong accomplishes what? Now I understand and use things like: lol, afk, brb. That does save time especially when you need to run off from your comp so quickly. So what are your thoughts? And I am wearing my flame retardant outfit cause I know where I'm posting this and am aware of the responses I'm likely to have.

What's something that fascinates you that most people don't think about? For example: names. Isn't it strange that we as a complex person are summed up by a few syllables. We are labeled at birth- that is what we are "called". Haha, how weird.

A girl at my daughter's school gave my daughter two raps. The first was a guy repeating "Get out my way b+" over and over. I don't think there were any other words. The other rap was some guy squealing "Quit calling me b+" over and over.

I don't see that either of these raps required much intelligence to produce. They seem to be outright uncivilized to me. How much brain do you need to lack to find this entertaining?

I'm only 26, and I get called sir virtually everywhere I go. Mall stores, restaurants, out and about. And just not too long ago, well seveal years ago but still, I graduated college and never got called that, I used to get carded.

Does this mean that I look old, or what not. Many people my age, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, even guys, don't seem like "sir" or "maams" or moms or dads yet, so if you get called that, is it just a suggestion of politness, courtesy, or even store/restaurant policy, or, is your time up and it's time to head for the plastic surgeon's office? lol

I'm just not ready to be "old" yet. I feel like in your 20s you should still be hip and fun.

Asthon Kutcher is my age perhaps a bit older, and I doubt it's appropriate to call HIM sir, unless of course he really looks rich and done up and handsome/formal.

Maybe it's just a respect thing?

I don't know, but I'm uncomfortable with it.

Ok, I forgot to add some details to my other question....
First, I'm referring to men that have a sort of Tom Sturridge air to them (if you don't know him, just go here): http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/img/actors_sturridge.jpg

OK, so the options are:
*Canada
*US
*UK
*Germany
*Australia

Do you think that the apparent 'race problem' that is in the United States is more a part of taking on the broken 'legacy of your people' before you, or actual experiences? I realize that this question is theoretically 50/50, but NOTHING in life is exactly 50/50 so what is your side?
