Why is it that when Jews refer to the halocaust,it's ok, but when blacks refer to their past it's get over it?

I've seen a question weeks ago about Hitler & the halocaust, and the majority of the responses were positive.
People were writing about the crazy things they would do to him if he was in prison in the States.
Now I just posted something on purse grabbing, and your responses were like get over what happened to your ancestors. (real nasty ones too)
So how come I'm not allowed to remember how I got to a country that does not speak my native language?

There were blacks in Africa that spoke Hebrew just like there were some that spoke Arabic.
And the name calling, are we mature people here that can be satisfied with what they written without name calling.

I didn't see either of these questions, and am not sure I understand yours, but:

If you're trying to justify snatching purses - or any crimes - based on your ancestors' history of persecution, I'd hope that you'd be condemned whether that history was the Holocaust or Slavery.

Also, I would *hope* nobody would judge, for example, a black slave or a resident of the Warsaw Ghetto for stealing a loaf of bread.

But at the same time, I'd join them in condemning a present-day (resident of a free country) descendant of either of those people who would dare justify his own criminal behavior based on his relatives' persecution.

(Please forgive me if I misunderstood your question, it was difficult for me to parse.)

No, they does no longer. it is purely an unusual election 365 days as a results of fact no longer all the applicants are white adult adult males, which has been the case an mind-blowing style of the time for our total historic previous. So the female and the black guy are the pioneers for their particular gender or race, and the only different candidate is the white guy. No huge deal.

certain parts of the black culture seem to continuosly bring up how they have and still are mistreated by whites. hear this : slavery? whites were slaves long before the blacks were. research and learn. remember this, this is america and unfortunately because of the freedoms we have anyone can say whatever they want to. ? when was the last time you heard a white try to play the racist card or say " you did that to me because i am white"

Because Jews have a State, Israel. They are making something of themselves using capitalism.

Blacks have, in America, allied themselves with democrats and True Americans repell Socialism.

The American way is to stand on our own feet. Jews do that while dark-complected people seem to always want a hand-out. Stop whining and show your mettle. Blacks can compete with the best of them, do it. Show the white folks WHY they are afraid: because you can do it better, I've seen this. Stop feeling inferior, you are superior in many ways.

And you have a hole card: soul. As a white man and honorary *****, I know soul, blacks have it, whites don't. Sell it in the marketplace! there is a demand for it.

I refuse to pay for the sins of my ancestors. Self-reliance works way better than trying to use the "gunbarrel of government coersion" to take from others.

As for language, as a long-time resident of southern California, I'm a little sensitive on the issue of language. This is America. We speak english. Assimilate.

Not because we demand it. Because speaking the language of where you live works better.

Its been 300yrs and all they do is cry, cry, cry..i bet you anything you ship these folks back to Africa they gonna be wishing they was back here. and also for one the Jews dont bicker about every little thing and two they dont drain every type of government program they have to the limit, then cry about how come they cant be seen as equals. but its ok to ride the foodstamp line and lie to get welfare checks and s.s.i. right?

I agree that there is an absence of even-handedness in people's responses. People are inconsistent based on their underlying prejudices and fears. Example: a senator propositions a member of the opposite sex - no big deal. a senator propositions a member of the same sex - expelled from the senate. We should never forget the past but we should not dwell on the past so that we cannot heal.

I think that what happened in the past was horrible, both for Jews in the holocaust and for black people, and all sorts of other minorities.

However, I think that we as a people should focus on the problems we face in society today, but we should never forget these things either.

I understand the rest of what you're saying, i'm black myself and always take the time to answer questions about race relations when i come across them.............................................I just wanted to say though, that your native language would be english, your ancestral language could be one of a number of African languages, but if you don't speak it, you sound a little ignorant by making that statement at the end.
