you can actually answer this yourself if you simply look at how it has already. you can get a fairly good estimate of what the future holds by simply looking at the past. we are fast on our way towards a cashless society for instance, most transactions are now electronic over the web. also your average individual can now go online and buy products from other countries while twenty years ago this was difficult if not impossible for the average american. this shows that we can expect that the future will see us with a world wide commerce with no restrictions. not to mention how much easier it is to stay in contact with people no matter where they are.

It is up there with the wheel which completely changed those peoples lives. From carrying people on the shoulders of strong men to haveing coaches and wagons to help farmers and potterys wheels and wheat grinders. To even war impliments chariots and from that throwing lead balls.
Would they ever go back to not having the wheel? No we take it for granted that is a part of our life. As much as a car or a bike or a wagon.
We now have computers that do our work, send messages to our friends. Keep us informed with instant news and what is the hotest new product on the market.
by the way of answers it gives us a voice to the public.
We can say I hate brussle spouts and peas. Not that anyone cares but we have a voice to talk to the public.
The things it may bring is unthinkable in the way of war weapons. It may make a missle or a bomb that we cannot stop from destroying mankind. A far cry from a chariot and sickles on the wheels. Which was a perfect killing machine for its time.

Spelling and grammar are already negatively impacted by the internet. A friend of mine, she is a teacher, graded a paper by a student recently. The student actually used net-chat terms in the paper... lol, idk, lmao, and more! Truly a sad state of affairs.
In addition, identity theft is a lot easier due to the internet. Too much information is too easy to get for such purposes.
As to your examples, it will take a long time before we see a shift to *most* jobs and education being based online. Online education will take larger strides than online employment will.
That being said, I think that more positive changes will result from internet usage than will negative changes.

everything will be dominated by it. did you know that some refrigerators have an internet connection, thats ridiculous but true.
there will be probably be another dot com boom although if they can somehow simplify the internet there will be no more office jobs just people sitting at a desk at home taking phone calls and checking their email. car companies are already trying to get internet in cars next thing they come up with is the internet enhanced artifiial brain

Well the day the internet crashes the world will explode.
It's like holding down the power button on a Gamecube,
let go and BOOM.
