I was about the colour of my skin. The one statement i hated the other kids saying to me was 'rubber lips. I got over it as kids can be so cruel, and they say 'kids speak the truth'.
In a funny sort of way i have had the last laugh, because women and men are paying thousands of pounds to have botox in their lips (and havent we seen some disaster's especially amongst celebrities, and in their bums too(i hold my hands up i have a shapely one of those too. Lol.
Isn't life strange?

I moved a lot as a kid so was always the new one at school and yes I did get bullied big time. One big fat girl called Maureen, who was much older than me, used to wait around the corner and then beat me up. Luckily we didn't live there too long. In my day nothing was done about bullies. I now have a son who at the first sign of being bullied went and saw the Head and she sorted it out. Although I do think bullying is more prevalent nowadays.

I agree with you about the botox jobs, what about that woman Weinstein (wants to look like a Lion! what's that all about)

Some kids are relentlessly teased and that has got to stop.
I think most everyone gets teased. I got teased/bullied because I have a shapely "backside". When I was a girl it bothered me but as I grew older I discovered that most guys like shapely hips on a woman.
It's funny how they'll tease you in school but outside of school is a different story.

You are a classy chick!
I'm old now, it wasn't ethnic differences that caused me to be bullied, but the fact that my mom, who made all my clothes and they were in style and pretty, also made matching underwear. This was in elementary school and in the days when little girls did wear dresses to school. Other girls had store bought underwear. Just white rayon panties if I remember right. Actually when I reflect, what my mom did for me was great! If I had just been of stronger character and not been bothered by taunts, but realized how cute this really was.

Yes, only for a short itme, but I will never forget it. Kids can be so cruel. It made me think twice about what I said to other kids from then on, which is a great lesson to learn.

Yes - I was bullied at school - especialIy by the Dinner Prefect on our table. I eventually realised that me being bigger than him this wasn't too bright - so the next time he tried it on I gave the cocky little sod a good hiding - problem solved and got first pick at school dinners thereafter!

yes at high school: i was picked on because of the colour of my skin and as i didn't fit in with any group. back then, i was something of an outsider. they called me names and some even threatened to physically assault me. kids back then were just downright nasty and cruel

I wish !!

Am real ashamed to admit I was the one bullying kids from my class...

Did my schooling from an all girls school and was the gang leader ..(wink, wink)

I remember one time, I convinced my entire class that one of the girls had a power to make them forget everything they knew right before the exams...and everyone was running away from that girl that entire day...

By the way...i just called and appologiezed to tht girl while scraping this here...

I was picked on for being different and having the nerve to express my difference. I am stronger now for the abuse.
